Hey Paula! Love your channel. It sure helped me out of that depressing moment during the dark times during the pandemic.Your concern and sincere compassion at that time was very needed. Thank you. As a pay it forward, I wanted to share with you Momma's Corn Cutard recipe she found on a Milnot milk can back in the '50's. It was always my favorite as she would serve it for holidays. (It's mainly all 3's and easy to remember) 3 eggs beaten, 3 tbl sugar, 3 tbl flour, 3 tbl butter, One can of Milnot (today I use 1/2 n 1/2 instead) 1 can corn ( I now use frozen thawed), salt n pepper to taste. Cook in a loaf pan in a slow oven until knife inserted comes out clean.She has passed on 20 years ago now but I can still recall how she loved to cook for people and we had a huge family and all the kids would come home with their kids the holidays and though her place was small there was a lot of love.. You would have loved her and she you. (You can call me Phil. Later tater!)

I made this salad today and it is great. Very hesitant to use the orange marmalade, but it was good, balanced out with vinegar. It has such a fresh taste, great for the the summer. Thanks Paula!

LOVE sweet corn, 🌽 BUT, .... Today, there are at least 238 distinct varieties of genetically modified corn. While not all of those varieties are commercially available, the unfortunate reality is that nearly all corn grown in North America is genetically modified.

That's how we do our corn also from garden as is straight to freezer in bags. Some people thought I had lost my mind till they tried it. I have some in freezer now. Thanks for letting people know I'm not the only one who puts there corn up this way Blessings to all. Alabama here

This looks really tasty. Wish when you are tasting you wouldn't stick your fingers in the food or taste the food over the dish. As my granddaughter says...." U not 'spose do 'dat." The 6 year old is right.

Hi Paula…thank you so much for your videos. I look for them every morning. I freeze fresh corn too but I shuck it, cut the corn from the cob then freeze it in a freezer bag. When I’m ready to use it, I take it out and usually roast it or put it in a fry pan with butter and oil and season to taste

I like white corn, but Super Sweet yellow corn would be good and be prettier.

But what if you've got a little green hitch-hiker? My Aunt Johnnie put-up the absolute best corn, wish I knew how she froze it! She lived on a working dairy farm & always made a large garden...memories from my childhood!

This looks delicious! We used to grow Merit corn when we had a garden. It's not available any more.

Great Lisa! However, I would use the sweeter purple onion and omit the peach perserve. The corn should be sweet enough without any added sugar.

Paula I grew up in North Carolina and the number one cash crop was the marijuana growing in with the tobacco!
