Someone needs to reproduce that GEM of a juicer because I have had tendon realignment surgery on my right hand and it's so hard for me to juice a citrus fruit and I'm only 50!!! Jamie and Bobby are precious 💕 I love y'all 🌹🙏🦋

I agree that that juicer is one of the nicest. I had one exactly like that and I don’t know where I got it. But sadly couple years ago when I downsized and moved, the juicer was packed very poorly by the packing folks. And that White bowl that is, specifically made for that juicer got broken. I was so sad. It was broken in such a way that I didn’t think it could be glued and not be a source for bacteria to congregate. but I will continue to watch for one at estate sales

My MNL had all her children. In laws and grandchildren "put their name" on something of her's they liked. She wrote their name on paper and taped it to the item. When she passed, everyone took their treasure home with the memory of her.

My aunt used a marker and put folks name on items that they wanted or she wanted them to have. While closing up her house it sure saved a few squabbles. I still have the the items she gave my mom. Paula, if the kids want something now that you no longer use, give it to them. But if you still use it put their name on it. Keep a journal with the items that your family.wants with the information on it.

You're absolutely right, things just aren't made to last like they used too...we're lucky to have those precious family heirlooms like that ( it's how I wound up with both of my grandmothers rolling pins, plus I'm the only one of the 3 of us kids that would use them 😁) so many,many years from now when I'm gone someone is gonna have themselves a house full of Paula Deen/Deen Family/Deen Brothers appliances and cookware to be as good as they are today!

One tip I always use for juicing my citrus is popping the fruit in the microwave for a bit which will help unlock all the juice!

My granny had a juicer like that one. I can smell the fumes from the motor. Be careful, it'll give you a shock if it gets wet! No grounding.

My grandma said to stick our address label on anything we'd like. My Mom knew she was dieing and had all of her kids choose what we wanted. Her husband wasnt happy😅. I thought it was smart.
