Life was SO MUCH EASIER back in these days! It makes me wanna burst out in tears. I still had both my parents and my biggest worry was staying up till 11 on a Saturday night. 😢
Paul Williams wrote the lyrics to the Love Boat song, which is at the beginning of each episode. Very talented singer, songwriter, and actor....won numerous awards in a long, distinguished career.
Tom asked for a cruise last night. It was the one thing he wanted more than anything else in the world. The only cruise ship I could think of was the old love boat series. I grew up on captain Stubbing. The love story on how captain stubbing found out that Vicki was his daughter. Tom asked me please to turn back into it in hopes that some of my memory would come back from my childhood and answer some of my questions. Love is not only patient and kind love is fragile. It should be handled with care. Wheh one says they love someone with all their heart and soul and all that they will ever be than it is true. It is love. All my friends everyone that I have ever known have passed through the port of Charleston. My family my friends my relatives. Tom asked me last night to please go on a cruise with him and it would explain some of the things he could not say in words. Somehow virtually he got me on the cruise even though I did not want to go. I wasn’t sure of the fussing the fighting that couples go through but here I am. I made it on board. My friends my relatives are here and my mother and my father somewhere on this ship because they watched the series themselves at one time.
I instantly thought of Saturday nights. Hee Haw, Muppet Show, Finders Of Lost Loves, Solid Gold, Fantasy Island, bath, bed, because we had to go to Sunday School early in the morning. Never thought of how my life was gonna turn out. Missing my family.
Actually not totally. Her character was partly inspired by both the editor and the author of the book that inspired the series. The reputation of the crew-passenger interactions she recounted led to it where on cruise lines now crew are forbidden from interacting off duty with passengers.

The Ratings were through the Roof. *This Show and Fantasy Island were great shows* according to High TV Viewership in the U.S. and around the World. People loved this Show. Not everyone likes everything so it's ok you think it was awful.
