AGREE - He talks about how Marissa benefits off the 'oppression of countries' due to the US military yet he neglects to see how he now lives (his free and authentic non-toxic self lmao) in the US therefor also benefiting from the 'oppression of countries' due to the US. This is why making politics your identity is a bad idea. LMAO

@Bree5three it doesn't try to make her feel bad about her past. He simply shared his opinion about the U.S. army. Marissa tried to downplay her role, like she was an innocent little flower (accountability is missing), but she made the choice to join the army and participate in the mess. Heavy conversation is not "always to make people feel bad" plus this conversation was needed as Marissa is still trying to join the army as reservist. She is all over the place.

@@queennzinga5988 I forget how they got into the convo but I believe she admitted she's ashamed of a lot of the things she had to do in the army and denounces a lot of it. The truth is, it's also still a necessary thing and she's proud of her service as she should be but he's acting like she has no right to. He can be self-righteous about it, as another commenter stated, because there are people like her who are out there risking their lives to keep him protected back at home. Let the army disband and watch how these same people will be quaking in their boots. I'm also a non-patriotic, non-American, liberal, I was born in Jamaica. But I have to be realistic as well. I don't like cops like that either but I still appreciate the idea of someone their to call in an emergency, I just also sadly have to pray they aren't evil now and won't turn the tables on me as a dsbw. Ramses is also the one in the next episode saying he'll try not to judge someone who's a Trump Supporter and look at their heart first. Uh no, not entertaining no one that supports agent orange so he's wishy washy too. And I still find it funny this wasn't addressed in the pods if he finds so much issue with it. Also she's not trying to be a reservist, said she's never going back, even when it was brought up hypothetically she's like not a chance. I think she was just saying it was more recent in her past than she may have led him to believe.
