Getting rid of the sofa for a work table is absolutely worth it for the decreased pain alone. Plus its always nice to rearrange once in awhile. Its refreshing!

I definitely think ditch the humungous couch. If you move the sun plaque higher up the wall you could put a shelf just above the desk to make use of the wall space and maybe put electricals on it. You could also ask Tom to build you some bigger corner shelves where you have the little unit on the left there? The lunch footage has left me feeling very hungry indeed!! Hi Cali, thank you for sharing yet another Wednesday vlog, I so look forward to these each week! I think a designated space for computer work and creativity would be brilliant and beneficial. I know it will be hard to let your sofa go but then you have had good use of it and the thought that it could be used and just as loved by someone else is pretty cool. After 18 months of excruciating shoulder pain...an occupational hazard from using a mouse and bad posture while at my computer in my working life...I'm finally pain free and have complete freedom of movement in my right arm. While feeling miserable with the pain, I decided to try acupressure as I had cured my tennis/golfer's elbow the same way. I moved my thumb up my arm, pressing firmly, until I hit a very painful spot, that's when I pressed my thumb in as hard as I could stand the pain, and just slowly moved my thumb in a circular motion. It took only two goes at this before I noticed a massive difference in my shoulder! The tender point in my upper arm was slightly inwards toward my chest and about 5 or 6 inches from the top of my shoulder. This may or may not work for you but one thing I learned from having physiotherapy is the problem could very well be awkward posture while sitting at a computer and that the pain is radiating to your shoulder from your neck and spine. One thing that also helped me, while still at work, was the purchase of an ergonomic mouse/pad. Instead of a mouse sitting out from your side, it is actually centrally placed in front of you. I just wish I could've taken it with me when I left work! Hopefully, with a new work station, you won't have be in an awkward position while using your computer! Sending loads of healing vibes your way ❤️❤️❤️

I think getting rid of the couch is a great idea..it will free up so much room..and make things so much easier for you.

Hello hello Cali. Yes a studio area is a great idea. That spot would be great for the light. If you can anchor to the wall a rail shelf might be perfect so you could have multiple shelves on that wall to hold supplies-. I know how you feel about your couch. I just got rid of a bed I had way too long b/c it was my first adult purchase. Having that extra space and the ability to enter the kitchen both ways may help with energy expenditure over time too. The desk would help support your posture most likely. A healthy Cali is a happy crafty Cali! Hey! I was a brownie too lol All your plants look great. I have lots of animals in our home so plants had to go to outside varieties. What a beautiful day today, here too. The sunshine was so warm. The gifts from your daughter are so special. it's Birtday-Time before Christmas

Hi Sweet Soul Sister. The best advice I can give is "Do what your heart tells you, therefore, no regrets." I'm over the moon happy that your daughter sent you the Love Mug. Happy Birthday to her as well along with the other beautiful ladies. I don't have my laundry done by anyone as Stalker would steal unmentionables ... yucky person that he is. I'm 100% honest here so hold on.......your lunch made my mouth water. Its a darn good thing I had an oatmeal cinnamon English muffin in front of me with coffee or I'd have put my head through the screen, lol.
