I just happened across this and I was brought to tears because my late husband and I loved Luther and his voice just sounded so much like Luther I just went into déjà vu God bless this young man help someone sign him to deal soon and let him do all his Luther impressions and any other songs he can do in this melody. Luther had a gift that was enjoyed by many of my generations! It guarantees top brain waves when the ear digests that voice in a song like this. Only a few has ever achieved that optic besides Luther. You have to bless us with that track over and over and over again! We've been reset, and our ears are prouder than ever. The power of your rendition is that you didn't force the song. You were patient and easy with it, just like Luther was. You were relaxed, you let the melody of both the piano and words do the work, and (so important!) you were not performative like so many who've tried to imitate the greatest R&B singer of my generation (Gen X). I was blessed to see him 3xs in the Bay Area back in the Aughts and early 90s. You've got an amazing voice, a new subscriber, and I've added this to my "Smooth Playlist."
