I come here for “Slow Jam” not that I don’t like his version of “if Only for one Night” it’s just that Slow Jan was a song I wish he’d have done a full version of
Can't understand why he hasn't made it as a singer, sounds way ahead of any r&b singer present and I mean way ahead! He makes it sound so easy, his voice is so pure and effortless!
THIS WILL NEVER, EVER GET OLD!!!!!! This is why Jamie is my absolute favorite!!! Pianist, singer, funny, and an AMAZING actor. Everything wrapped in one!! Lol
I'm mad that the entire audience knows every song including the Kirk Franklin gospel song in the end, lol! I'm also mad that the audience was singing in unison, but more importantly in key and Jamie was able to direct them to follow him like the choir director does with the congregation in church....heeeee heeeee, Black folk, lol.
Kmak Milly "Shut up." Really? Lol. I was actually being facetious, and apparently 8 other people understood that. I loved the video. Obviously, the video shows just how talented Black people are. A room full of strangers at a comedy show were directed to sing a particular song that everyone knew, and they all sang in unison and in tune and sounded great!
Jamie Foxx has NEVER been underrated!!!! Like ever! He’s too much of a legend to even be considered as such. He’s extremely talented and the world knows it.
Not underrated, if you understand how these entertainer are marketed and promoted. You’d understand you can’t feed the public but so much. An underrated entertainer doesn’t score the BioPic on the life of Ray Charles.
Don’t forget he was also a top 3 track runner in the state of texas he went to skyline high school in Dallas and beat Michael Johnson (Olympic gold medalist) in track in high school
@@Weesie08 not as good as he used to back in the day. I mean he's older now I understand that but I guess that's also the reason why he does not sing as often nowadays as he used to
*May 2023 edit* This man is in critical condition this video came through my reccomend and I just wanted to give my regards. It's way too early for him to go. Hang in there Jamie. 2:17 Atlantic Star slow jam 6:26 Luthor Vandross If only for one night 8:00 Kirk Franklin Stomp
"Bernadette..that was as crazy as names got back then. plain ole Bernadette.. it wasn't no LaCakia, LaFunfia, Delusha & Shaleeka and all that shit" LMFAOOOOOOO
I wonder how it feels to have THIS much SWAG! When you know you have an entire audience in your hip pocket! When 8 out of 10 women in the audience (and a few of the men too) would give anything to be with you for only one night. Wow!
👋😳 I'm an African American 48-year-old man and I love the fact that I live in the era and was brought up in the mid'70s and '80s I could definitely relate to everything he's saying who else out there can relate to this good old Jamie Foxx💪🤨

You are so correct! check out some of his interviews where he addressed this. Some of the producers suggested he change his style to appeal to a broader audience but this is the Jamie Foxx I love!
Dude is the goat. A legit triple threat. Dude won an oscar and a Grammy in the same year. Whoopi did it back in 84, but for a comedy album and Color Purple. Jamie is second to none. Much love for this brotha. I been watching since in living color
I love the look on Jamie’s face @3:11 of pure excitement when the crowd started singing along. Truly beautiful, you can tell he just was born to entertain
It's so nice to see everybody in the crowd actually interacting and enjoying the show. Nowadays people be so worried about having their phones and recording n and everything that they don't enjoy stuff like this to its full potential in real time.
Underrated? He's an A-list celebrity. Y'all truly need to start knowing the meaning of words instead of just typing anything because you have 4G internet
"I just think that sometimes we have to go back to old days...back then it was easy, it was simple, it was cool." These words were never truer than they are today in 2016. Same as they'll be true the next decade...and the next...and the next...
I miss the simpler times. Courting was a thing and that first call always gave you butterflies. Mixtapes used to fill in the blanks when you couldn't find the words, it made popular songs seem more personal when you recorded it on a mixtape. Sending a RU-vid link doesn't have the same heft.
