My husband keeps on body shaming me since the time I delivered a baby 2 years ago and unable to loose weight. I opted for taking a break from my 17 years of career just to be able to take care of my baby for the However, i am continuously disrespected as being a burden, who is eating for free and becoming fat, not contributing financially, etc etc. Sometimes I loose hope and will completely to live further when constantly being put down and hated by the person you are living with. So if you can go back to work, do so before it is too late... If he is accusing you of "free-loading" then he can't stop you from going back to work. So get the job first, then if things don't improve with him, get a divorce. You can then save your money that he cannot demand you share with him or his family. A lot of husbands still believe that they own their wives & any material advantages that their wives bring to the marriage, then think nothing of throwing their wives out on to the street. So WRONG.
