I love hearing Wilbur talk about his songwriting process. He's very down to earth with it, and very earnest :) he has so much passion and life in him, and that always comes through in his lyrics. I too love the concept of dramatising misery; it feels a very fitting way to share painful experiences, in a world where bad things often happen for no particular reason; there is a black comedy in that, and I love the way Lovejoy incorporate that into their music. They're a phenomenal band, and Wilbur's a great writer!!

They've come so far it's actually insane. I remember watching one of his streams during quarantine 2020 and checking out his music. I remember when he announced he was in a band. I remember hearing clips of their EP on tiktok, and I remember when their first EP came out. It was my top listened to on spotify wrapped. And i guess it makes sense, i don't know much about LA but from what i've heard it seems like that sort of place.
