The fall has this really nice contrast between really simple and clean in the verse and chorus and then explosives in the bridge A lot of other songs get close to or even surpass the intensity of the bridge, but I don’t think any of them get as simple or clean before, it has the highest contrast of any of their songs
Wilbur looks like he rules the world in some of these shots, they're incredible! Also the scream at the end of "There's nowhere else to go but" is SO GOOD Everything about what they changed from the original is amazing, is this version was on spotify I'd listen to it so much
the RAWNESS is INSANE. mans went IN. the deepness, the growl, the shouting, the scream at the end, the feeling- GOD i love this song, especially this performance
I literally passed away THE POWER IN HIS VOICE DURING THE END PART AND THE WAY THEY ENDED THE SONG AND THE WAY HE H E L D U P H I S G U I T A R literally my musical idols I'm so proud of all of them
To me I feel like this version is like someone reaching the brink of insanity. Like, feeling as good, powerful, and free as they can. Then, they plummet. People push them over their edge and they fall, reaching insanity and anger
@RizzlerJones yh I kinda don't know how to feel about the situation, I've kinda just put the band and Wilbur to the side now, I love the band but very disappointed in Wilbur needless to say... I commented this over a year ago, obviously back then, no one knew. My question is for you tho, why are you going around talking about how he's bit people, the fact you don't support him but you are on a video that was posted a year ago, in a comment section replying to a comment that was posted before the incident was known about, to just say that he bit someone... kinda sad ngl in my opinion, maybe keep out of it, it's none of our business, support him if you want, or very well don't. I don't anymore but the fact you are still going around telling people to me just makes me think you are a fake hater, get a grip man seriously
Lyrics: Under the weight of a broken nose It's not that simple, but he won't seem to notice There must be more to this So leave those sink estates and Let's book a holiday We're painting all the counties in blue 'Cause we're already boring And we're already hoarding What else have we got left to accrue? And the ramblers will say "It's got a marvelous view" But they don't know how many lives it took, no They'll never know what you knew And we're so calm but we're (fucking scared, fucking scared) And we're so calm but we're (fucking scared, fucking scared) And we're so calm but we're (fucking scared, fucking scared) And we're so calm but we're fucking scared of people like you Under the weight of some Sertraline A couple Prozacs, and now I'm pumping dopamine There must be more to this We've got a country house now Old dog has been put down now It's nice to be around trees Custom license plate On our Audi R8 How many grocers does one county need? And the ramblers will say "It's still a marvelous view" That treadmill still looms Your hedonic misuse So come on, one and all to see the apathy The reams of gray stencils that fill the tapestry I look to all of you and see a different fucking species Aspiration for a different destination to me Across the Pennines, there's a thin blue line, a knife and a mall I would do something, if it wasn't all so effortful 'Cause I'm so high, my brain can't even look at the fall And when you've reached the top there's nowhere else to go but-
I was there, it was so good and they played all of Aya? All except scum and Warsaw from Wu&io, a few songs from pebble brain, it was one of their best performances I've seen so far
the tone does seem different, but regardless of that. something i noticed is i feel like he has been taking vocal lessons. the distortion on his shouty vocal, and the actual fry scream at the end shows that hes at the very least practicing a lot, or even actually getting vocal, screaming lessons. unless hes just that good and figured fry scream on his own.
