I am old at 94 but I got a zinger when I saw Emily for the first time, One of the standouts of beauty in women, I am glad she is married and has two children, She deserves the best, 4 20 2024
I never tire of watching Music City Roots videos. For those who are asking who these terrific performers are, I'm not sure of everyone but the three young lady vocalists are the Bankester Sisters: Emily, Alysha and Melissa. Next to them the fella with the pink tie who sings a verse is singer/songwriter Jim Bianco. The lady with fair hair dressed in black who holds a drink in her hand and sings a verse is the delightful singer/songwriter Amy Black. The final singer is Amy Ray next to the young lady with the accordion - and the young lady banjo player is maybe, I think, Alison Brown. Some of the others on stage are from the band The Farewell Drifters, and lead singer Zach Bevill sings a verse after the Bankester Sisters and the mandolinist is Joshua Britt. The electric guitarist who plays a solo is Jeff Fielder. Jim Brock is on drums, Jake Hopping (stand up bass), Matt Smith (pedal steel) and Adrian Carter (fiddle). The host, of course, is the great Jim Lauderdale who keeps everyone going. I wish I could name them all as they deserve to be named, so do feel free to name any others that you know of and please correct me if I've made any errors.
How on earth do you get so many great singers and great musicians together in one place like that? So many great voices. What a great rendition of a great song.
I’m sure others have mentioned this but it needs to be said again. This song Lodi was written by John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival and released in 1969 as a B side to Bad Moon Rising. A wonderful heartwarming song of desperation and these guys bring new life to it.
It's a Jam session. What makes it SOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD is that there might be a few minor flaws in volume controls etc. But it is the flaws which adds to the spontaneous nature of the session. Oh, and yes, the Beautiful strawberry blonde singing in the trio (2 nd verse ), the cutey in the hat playing accordian, the tall willowy blonde with the drink with the great voice. If only these ladies were around when I was young. I know, I know, I should have got out more !!!!! BOOM BOOM!
I have watch this video at least 50 times since I first saw it. I loved everything about this video and everybody is so talented. I wish I knew how to get hold of one of three girls with green dress. I think she’s beautiful and she sings beautiful too, I am in love with her.
Yeah .. we're still stuck with this song again ! A very good cover. Thank you Guys for bringing back my sweet memories. The Legend still lives on .. "Credence Clearwater Revival" ♡♡♡
Just wow... simply wow... WOW! I am all for covers of classics but once in a while, you get a cover that goes way beyond; this is that cover! Amazing Xx
That was the best sounding train wreck I've ever heard! I don't mean that negatively. Every musician is familiar with train wrecks, great musicians still manage to make them sound like good music!
You sure got that right & that stage is packed . Good thing Jim knows how to pick folks that can work around the confusion of who sings now & who solos when. It would have helped to have everyone's mic's turned up better.
I'll never get tired of this song which, I'm listenning since CCR plyed it. Moreover, updated by these beautifull performers . Great to see and listen, wow.!!!!!!
Simple, but delightful lyrics that pierce the hearts. Lyrics that not only make you move your booty but also makes you think and appreciate how beautiful this planet Earth is. Thank you for this awesome song. My friends, always remember Rome wasn't built in and a day and even though all roads lead to Rome, there are many ways to kill a rat peacefully and great music is one way.
My favorite CCR song by far so melodic and lyrically expressive. I got to see the man himself perform it with his son Shane at Lock'n festival back in 2017 with a new upbeat tempo that really clicked.
To all you puzzled haters....You should try jamming...since you obviously don't know what it is. It's a wonderful heart warming experience. And is one activity that adds to our world. Not subtract from it.
YEAH. This is the verson I've been LOOKING for. Thanks a million. Dear Howard H. LEE founder of New Continental JAZZ of America 1. downtown Bonaventure Hotel in LA 2. in New York planned 20th Century Plus LANY THE ENTERTAINMENT U.S.A. ★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆❤❤❤
Sometimes you love to sing, while you know it is hard to perform well, but who should stop you and why? You don't have to listen and you don't have to pay! Enjoy life, perfectionist! Instead of demanding it should be better...
