Lovely One Music Video - Love American Style Soundtrack 

This beautiful song is so gorgeous and contemporary that it still translates and sounds as young and fresh as 1969 was ! A beautiful song of a forever love. I'm so darn angry that the fantastic music from this series was never transfered digitally. Shame on the people at Fox and Paramount for letting it "rot away" in the vaults. I've tryed so hard to group people together on this , but to no avail. Charles Fox's compositions for this breezy, swinging series are iconic and a part of our pop culture history. So sad , he is a master story teller through his instrumental offerings. There was some much more music than appeared on that stingy 1973 album from Capital , but it's all I've got so I treasure it dearly. ❤️🤍💙🤍♥️

AMEN, I'LL SECOND THAT. Ever since I got both Season 1 DVD sets, there are many times I'll just play ONLY the song "To Make Love Grow" from the Season 1 ep "Love and the Single Couple" (with Don Porter, the dad from Gidget). It is SO mellowy, SO poignant, whether or not you lived during that era. Even though I was born in '72, still, regardless, really brings back memories of watching Partridge Family, Scooby-Doo, Schoolhouse Rock, Krofft Supershow, Banana Splits/New Adventures of Huck Finn ;-)

I have this LP. It's a wonderful album. Every one a gem.

What a fantastic montage from the show and yes, Charles Fox is a musical genius. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet him and he signed my copy of his new book with a birthday greeting. I pray we get to see more DVDs of both Love, American Style and The love Boat very soon! Great job!

I saw Charles perform in Seattle just a week ago. He played through all his songs at the piano and told great stories, it was a lot of fun. Apparently there are a number of re-issues coming out on CD in the next year, many lost film scores as well as the original LAS album.

I'd love to see this soundtrack reissued (as was Pufnstuf); scoring a used copy will typically set you back a hundred bucks (at least). But the DVD's have a lot of this great Charles Fox music and, of course, the cool shows which I wanted anyway. But I'll definitely get a copy, eventually. Thanks for posting.

I love Charles Fox's scores. I just transferred the soundtrack of Love American Style from my old vinyl copy to digital. I wish I had still had a copy of the Pufnstuf score, though I do have the dvd of it. Charles also did Barbarella, Love Boat etc. Groovy easy listening at it's best. I like him as much as Burt Bacharach. I was only about 6 or 7 years old when Love American Style was on the air but I was mesmerized by his music. As a jazz pianist that has performed all over the world, I love to include his music in my sets. Now time to go ZAP The World.

Yes! Some great music from some of those shows; the Banana Splits snd.trk. has been reissued and it's very cool. I love the 'now sound' vibes of theme/score music from the era. Check the theme from 'That Girl' here on YT ... it's a killer, and sung by the Ron Hicklin Singers, who also did the Partridge Family stuff (w/D. Cassidy), the 'Love American Style' theme, and about a million other things of the style ... anonymously. Smooth, groovy, melodic, and feel good sunshiny stuff.

please put 'where do I go?' on!! That's the second song from the LP, I can't find anymore on YT, one of the best songs ever IMO.

The soundtrack version of "TO MAKE LOVE GROW" is very different than what was aired. It was a lot less commercial than what was on the record. Very different even for the era.

You know, it's interesting, TerryT1976 used to play the original LAS theme on his channel, which lasted a minute longer than the original shown on TV. So, other than that, thanks for the heads-up anyway.
