Touring the beautiful 2022 Cadillac Escalade! This six figure, three row SUV always impresses me! Car Buying Courses: thecarmomofficial.teachable.com/ Check out my Merch: thecarmomofficial.myshopify.c... Follow Me on IG: / the_car_mom
It looks great on the outside (class leading presence no doubt), but it's lacking on the inside and the GM cheapness is apparent. The Grand Wagoneer has a bigger and more comfortable backseat, better materials (especially 2nd and 3rd row). One touch second row slide to get in the back, a bigger and deeper center console with the option of a cooler or a safe, a more powerful 6.4 engine. If you'd combine the Cadillacs exterior looks with the Wagoneers improvements in this segment... You'd have the perfect full size SUV.
I just bought this Cadillac Escalade ESV Premium luxury trim. And Oooo My Lord let me tell y’all, this car is outstanding, very comfortable, the interior, and the feature is thumbs up.. 👍👍 no regret at all! I was so confused before I got this car between Mercedes GLS 450 and the Escalade ESV.. Well since I’m a mom of 5 with the football season coming up I think this car is be the best in the market that can fit all my kids in it.. big leg space and giant cargo space.. well done @cadillac
4.5 years into parenting, never had a sun shade, never missed one. Had an ESV for 2.5 years and I’ll never go back! I’d love the cup holders on the arm rest. And mine has rear controls on the back of the front console - my kids bump them all the time and make changes. I’d move them. I can’t move my second row seats front to back, I’m jelly! Love the V8.
The panoramic roof - file it under “things that seem like good ideas but really aren’t”. I have one on my Ford Escape and we rarely use it. When it’s open my wife always wants me to close it because the sun is bothering the kids.
I am obsessed with my Cadillac Escalade Premium Luxury. My only two complaints is the lacking of sunshades and when you use the electric button to fold the third row down, if the 2nd captains chAir is pushed all the way back; it wont fold entirely flat. You have to go up there and slide it forward. definitely an oversight on GMS part
We are 2 years into a Navigator lease and I think the interior is better in the Nav. We got the mid level and it ran around 80K on a business end lease. At 80K, I have everything that has. I even have massaging seats. That said, the GM is more a driver's SUV having driven a 2018 Denali XL we also leased. The Nav had an electrical short and was towed twice though with under 25K miles. I am not recommending the Nav. to anyone. I am hoping I can convince management next year to lease a loaded out Telluride. We'll see...
Love the Escalade. I definitely agree it’s the sexiest car on the road but my hubby and I chose the 2022 Denali XL (it’s definitely upgraded than the 2021) over the Escalade! I felt like the Escalade was lacking lots of storage and cubby space for kids! We have 2 under 2. And that was my only downfall. My only complaint about the Denali is the gear shifter, I’m a mommy that loves her long nails 🥲
When I hit the lottery, this is the first purchase! Otherwise, can’’t justify the difference from a Suburban/YukonXL or the even cheaper minivans for transporting the same number of adults.
Hi hun when you put that car seat in are the seats pushed all the way back? Do u loose all access to back ( I am expecting twins ) I have older kids will they be able to get in and out of the 3rd row!
A Suburban and an Audi TT cost the same as one of those. An Expedition Max and an Audi Q3 cost the same as one of those. A Bronco and a Jeep could be in my front yard for the same amount. (Please review Audi TT for empty nesters 😎)
No sunshades is an embarrassment. I didn't even see it as an option in their configurator (someone correct me if I'm wrong.) Why is this an embarrassment? Look at the price point and purpose. This car is dripping in 'luxury' and is missing an important feature.
I think the Nav, I am not sure but I think they have the sunshade in the 2nd row, they have lower anchor tether in all of the their seats, middle head restrain in the 3rd row and they have the carseat friendly tilt.
Dear followers!! Don't let the beautiful pictures confuse you . Anyone who buys a new car from GENERAL Motors the chance you threw your money into the trash is very large. In this company there is no customer service, the company's management does not care at all, if you have a problem or a malfunction, you can only pray to God there is a chance that the help will come faster. GM is a very dangerous company, be careful and keep your money safe.!!!Share so more people don't get screwed.GM is a big bluf
Hi, I've watched several of your videos and I don't understand where you are in such a hurry? you talk so fast it reminds me of a tornado. In general, I liked you and tell interesting information, but if you spoke more slowly, it would look more solid. Thanks for the video, you are smart and you have an interesting channel.
$110k. 😳 If I were willing to drop that kind of 💰 on a car, it sure as heck won’t be a Caddy or Lincoln. At that level, I’d probably break and go BMW or Mercedes as the cost of service would not freaking matter to me!
For all that early gloating you made A lot of negative comments … overpriced …. it should have more amenities at that cost.. x7 is nicer and arguably so is the wagoneer
Huge frontal blindspot can hide *multiple* children. This must be a huge liability to park without keeping a close eye on cameras... SUVs are safe for your own children, and for people who do not care about pedestrians and other people's children...
Frontal blindspot where? I drive this vehicle and aside from the cameras, there are so many safety features in this vehicle. If you hit a child, you literally shouldn’t have a license period.
Seeing a mother with small kids popping out of this thing would be a sight to see. Most of them would be lucky to have enough money for cereal boxes and diapers
