Summer finally found it's way to Southern California, and it's only two months late... there's been a record seven days in a row without marine layer. Afternoon high temps at the beach have been reaching into the upper 70's, perfect weather for flying around in the cub with the windows open.
From what I've been told, this cub saw service in WWII. The only equipment that has been added to it is a radio and transponder which are charged by a solar panel that's plugged into a 12 volt adapter under the pilot's seat when the plane is on the ground.
