Hey Linda! I’m in DC and I have to TOTALLY agree! My morning iced coffee in my little shared community garden is SO joyful! This month, I treated my niece to a back to school Ulta haul and we had a great day talking about APPROPRIATE skin care for them and a little make up. I treated myself to the Singe blush bundle and new jeans. Yay FALL!
YES! It has gotten delightfully crispy in the mornings. i absolutely love it. And I love, love, love that you talked to them about APPROPRIATE skincare. (I had my tween niece trying to talk to me about Retinol and I shut that down real fast.)
I love these low-buy check ins. They really balance my watching of "What's New" vids and remind me to not get sucked into fomo, which can be sneaky sometimes. I'm not buying them now, but ND Golden and I Need a Warm are on the list for next year or so. I have my perfect neutrals for my yellow undertone, which those took so long for me to figure out that I got backups, so those will last me awhile. But my fav quad has been discontinued for 2 years now, so eventually I will need a replacement. ND Golden and Warm are also my perfect neutrals, they're magnetic (I like BYOPs in 9-12 pans for travel and for fun), and I still haven't tried ND yet. I'm on a no-buy bc I need to use what I have. I wasn't buying much for awhile, but then went crazy in Jun and Jul with the Lethal Avatar collection and a few other things from July 4th sales. I think they were good purchases, but now I really don't need anything. 😅 Have fun in Palm Springs! Bring layers for your trip for our dry heat, Mediterranean climate. CA doesn't get cool until ~the last week of Oct, but the nights will start to get chilly a month before that.

I managed to talk myself out of this year’s Hourglass Ambient palettes (a release I chomp at the bitt for every year), and I’m incredibly proud of that. I had a buttload of expiring points in my Tarte account that I didn’t want to waste, so I ordered an eyeshadow palette that I’ve had my eye on. But I paid only $15 for it. And that also ends my former adoration of Tarte, as I’m sick of their nonsense. 😊👍
This month I got 2 things on pre-order: Unearthly Spring Magic and Night Terror Mystery Box. This will be my first time trying Unearthly and I’m so excited!
I just got Timid Tomato delivered this morning! I can't wait to try it 😍 And I'm going to see the new Beetlejuice tomorrow evening. If they hadn't brought back so much of the original cast, I probably wouldn't have. I'm so excited to see it and I hope it's good 🤞 Doing purple and green makeup for it and wearing my Beetlejuice t-shirt for it!
Really great video dear Linda I actually only ordered two Nomad palettes, did haunted europe and the fuji palette. In addition, my Nocturnal from Glaminatrix finally arrived. And otherwise I will only order the new Cosmic beauty palette. I still have a lot for my cats and my two-year-old Son
You should really check out the Ensley Reighn Harvest Moon pallette, if you don't already have their first go-around but it's been re-released. She is pricey, but holy shit she is beautiful!!! She is pigmented. With very little to no fallout, th4 glitters are buttery and SHINE. This is my first palette by Ensley Reighn and I think I'm in love
Hey you yourself are such a joy to watch! I'm on a really low buy this year too,and probably going forward. The latest things i got were a Fenty Hot Cheeks Blush, and a swimsuit outfit I've been eyeing since July that i got on 50% sale. I live in the Caribbean btw, so it's beach whenever i get the chance. As for what's on my radar, man those Singe blushes and the F06 brush. But I'm holding off on makeup purchases for the next 6 months at least. I always cave on my birthday in March though...

I saw Beetlejuice Beetlejuice last night. Very fun,😂 So… I did get the NYX Beetlejuice blush trio and one of the sandworm glosses. Yup-packaging got me. But the blush is so cute! I’m like Betty Jean. It’s Halloween year round at my house. It’s Halloween shopping time for me. I have gotten some decor this year, but I mostly look for functional things that fit my vibe.

Hi Linda, may I ask a favor, please? Would you be so kind as to try the UD Face Bond foundation again, but with a damp sponge? Apply it to your face one section at a time, using a little bit at a time. The reason I ask is that I purchased this because I sweat so much during our Aussie summers, and on paper, this looked perfect. Our version of your Ulta is Mecca, and it states that for light coverage, use a damp sponge; for medium coverage, use a brush; and for full coverage, use your fingers. Because it dries down quickly, it also suggests applying it to one side of your face at a time. We can't return makeup here once you've opened it, and it cost me $78 AUD. Hi there! While I haven't had time to try it with a full face yet (with powder, blush, etc.), I did try it sheered out with a sponge and it does work nicely! I think if you're looking for something for hot weather, this will be for you. It's still a BIT heavier-coverage than I prefer (since I prefer next to nothing on my skin), but definitely lighter!
I’m not on a self imposed low but I’m on a things are getting stupid expensive low buy , I’m Canadian and anything that can even remotely be considered Beauty related are up to 3x more expensive it’s not just the dollar difference anymore prices on everything World Wide have tripled but here anything Beauty related is excessively stupid expensive. For example the Face Bond Foundation is 60 and the Skin Tech by Lady Gaga is a whopping 73 I know because that’s what I bought myself for my Birthday, was I as wowed as I was with my sample of it YES it’s so customizable from just a sheer application to blank it out FULL coverage. My skin looks like skin it’s dewy but not greasy it won’t just slide off at the barest touch , and it has skin care infused into it I absolutely love it , so for me personally I’m on a only buy what I run out of except my Birthday lol . I have a large makeup collection for someone that doesn’t do YT or any type of SM Content but I know many ppl that have 10x the collection I do I guess it’s down to what each person thinks is a lot , I’m on the hunt for my perfect base and I don’t think I’ve found it yet I have products I LOVE but I don’t have “ my best” base perfected yet . I have texture not from acne but just skin texture I’m normal but can lean dry in the Winter and when I say Winter I mean -55 Celsius FREAKING MIND NUMBING COLD ! I do need to set my makeup down in my T Zone and under my eyes . When I say I’ve tested Powders I mean I’ve tested them I have literally 35 of them ranging from Sephora to Drugstore, everyone keeps saying try the CT Powder but I can’t pull the trigger on a 70 dollar Powder that has so little in the compact and yes that Powder is 68 bucks and after tax it’s almost 80 ! If it had more product I wouldn’t be so hesitant but it’s almost nothing in the pan compared to other Brands at Sephora for a much more acceptable price tag . I know you like it but would you repurchase it if it cost you 76 bucks to walk out the door with it I guess is my question and while you are on a low buy and it was your ONLY purchase you could make that Month like nothing else no clothes, skin care, hair care nothing else except food would you still buy it when it’s literally the only thing you could buy outside of Food , Bills and Gas ?
I get so bummed out when I hear those in countries outside the US talk about how INSANELY expensive makeup (and especially shipping) is for them! A $60 foundation is a lot. Ugh.

Tubing Mascaras give amazing length which is what I’m personally looking for but……. I have very watery eyes 😢 so I can’t wear them , I’m so disappointed because I obsessed with how great my lashes look for oh about 15 minutes then it’s all over and I look like a Raccoon or Zoro take your pick . I know the purpose is to wash off very easily but for ppl like me a water proof veer would be fantastic, it can still wash off easily just not slide off my eyes in 2.5 seconds in the Spring and Summer when my eyes are at their worst . Some of it is allergies in the warmer Months but they water all yr round and it’s a newish problem never did it before until the last yr and a half bugging me yr round and I’ve brought nothing new into my House to cause it , just another thing I’m racking up to getting older 50 is literally knocking on my door .
I have been circling around those Finding Ferdinand glosses for a very long time time. The only negative I’ve heard is that their packaging feels way too cheap for the price-point so is the quality worth it? Are they that special that they earn the price tag? Would/will you repurchase at full price?
I don’t personally find their packaging to be cheaper than any other brand I’ve tried around the same price point. (Natasha Denona, etc). And ABSOLUTELY would repurchase. (I still dream of Lemoncello or Cafe Noisette coming back.)
I actually bought the grey gloss from the Beetlejuice collection. That was pretty much all I wanted. I have gotten several compliments on it. 🩶🩶 And you DO deserve it!!! Go do yo trip! And then we need to see details!
