You've got pretty high levels of magnetic fields in that kitchen (6 milligauss) and bedroom (3 milligauss). You may have current running on water pipes that is creating that or a stray neutral wiring error in the home. To check this turn off the main power and see if it goes away. If it doesn't then it's likely from metal pipes and you need to install a dielectric union to cut that current and then reground the home's grounding system to a stake in the ground. If it does go away then you need to check each breaker to find out where the error is and have an electrician use an amp meter on the romex. The neutral and hot wires should be nearly perfectly cancelling out the magnetic fields in your home. You can also put a clamp/amp meter on your pipes to check if current is flowing through them as well as the ground wire. Hope you read this and that it helps!

Brian Hoyer this is overwhelming to me. I hear that 5G will be a nightmare of radiation and then I read that as soon as you’re some distance away it drops off considerably. I still don’t understand how far away. When he used the tool 100 feet away from the electrical pole I couldn’t see what number came up on the tool and wouldn’t know what would be the significance of the number anyway. Some say get faraday boxes for meters, routers and electronics. Some say wrap with aluminum foil, some say if you wrap your phone that’s good enough because it’s the only wired bit that is close to you all the time. I want to do something about it but other than the timer I put on TV, modem & router to shut down at night, I don’t know which of the other things will really help.

I just got a meter like this and where my head lays I'm getting a reading of 70 on the top part of the meter and when i put it right on wall where my head lays it goes up to 300 . I'm concerned because i lay in this position 24/7 after 3 strokes and I get extremely dizzy. Can anyone give me some advice. Could this have caused the strokes ?

It's more like 100 top measurement, I'm extremely dizzy . Is it safe to be sleeping with these readings. I don't want a 4th stroke .

@@fergusotoole5823 That is a dangerous situation for your sleep/rest area. Absolutely, you need to minimize the electromagnetic (AC wiring, primarily) and radio frequency (cell, wifi, cordless phones) in your bedroom. Use one of these meters to identify the largest source of trouble. You might have electrical wires just under or behind the headboard. Or, worse, you might have a refrigerator or electrical meter just on the other side of the wall. Lamps that are plugged in will generate fields, even if not energized, so see if you can minimize that reading by unplugging items and turn off the circuit breaker in the bedroom if you can. Surprisingly, small electric alarm clocks can generate huge fields. You might consider moving the bed or the place where your head and torso are to reduce your exposure. I am not sure of the correlation of that EM level with strokes but nervous system and cardiac issues can definitely occur with prolonged exposure, especially in the area where you sleep. Try to look for a 'Building Biologist' in your area and they can measure and help you remediate the situation. Get someone to help you, but do it promptly, for your health.

Hello everyone! I just got one of those devices (not exactly this one but very similar) and I would like to know if there a list of levels of electric and magnetic fields so I can see if a certain level is harmful or not and at what level... maybe I don't have the right words for my research (???) but I find nothing... at least nothing with the kind of measurements of my little device in milligauss and V/m... thank you soooo much for your help and have a beautiful day. I just received it, few minutes ago and of course, I had to put it on charge as the battery was almost dead but the thing was screaming at me... so was it because the battery was low or??? The number of V/m ~ as I was walking through my house quickly ~ was varying between 68 and 150... somebody knows what would the level for a "safe" house? Are these # too high? Normal? And I don't understand why such device would come without a little list, at least the basic numbers as guidance.

It's not the gauss or tesla value. It depends on the frequency of electromagnetic radiations. In PEMF devices, they use like above 5000 gauss EM pulses, but the pulse frequency is under 100 hz, which heals so many diseases.

I recently bought one of these. I am notoriously low-tech. - no computer, cell-phone but all my electrical goods give off a harmful reading until 2 ft. (60.9 cm) away from them weather on or off (this has made me turn off plug sockets more!). How "Harmful" are these fields. What length of time should I avoid being around them? I'm not looking forward to the meter readings after 5G roll-out (or stampede!)

Just make sure where you sleep is as low as possible.

To make the reading low in the bedroom, consider keeping any plugged in powercords away from your bed. Electric alarm clock can be replaced with battery, windup or none at all. It is good that you routinely unplug things, though there are some small gadgets that plug into AC outlet and have a switch into which your cords g et plugged in -- this means the lamp wires are not energized (and thus creating EM fields even when the device is 'off'). These devices cost four dollars or so each on Amazon. We have an electrosensitive person here so actually shut off the breakers in bedroom every night. As a direct result, we have had very restful sleep and have vivid dreams nearly every night. One quick low-tech test -- if you are not routinely having vivid dreams, then your wifi/cell OR electromagnetic levels are likely way too high for your body to properly heal itself (at night while you sleep). You might not have more than some listlessness on a day-to-day basis but over the decades the effects add up. Cancer, Parkinson, Alzheimers, Leukemia and many other conditions are directly linked with such electrosmog.

Saw your EMF meter specification showing 5hz-3500mhz, if I wanted to only test the high tension power line(those tower with bunch of electrical power line), is it better to get this 5hz-3500mhz or others EMF meter with specification 30hz to 300hz. Will this capture other EMF other than the high tension power line around house or should get a 30hz to 300hz ?

When you say radiation I assume it can not detect radiation from marble/granite since some stones have high levels of radiation.

A few weeks ago BT provided me with a new router , fibre-optic I already had allergies , mainly to do with my sinuses and upper respiratory tract . Fortunately I own one of your meters so I know that the new router is emitting more than double the emf of the old one , over 1,000 V/M compared to 450 . Since the new router arrived I have developed a strange persistent cough my chest rattles and my sinuses are much worse . I would welcome your opinion about this , thanks .

If you ask me, you should locate your router very far away from you as much as possible, with the wireless option is disabled. Don't use the WiFi connection at all if possible. Use ethernet instead. Go to the settings of your router and then power down your router to "minimum". I hope these would help you.

The meter can be used to give you a very good idea of how strong a field is. The meter lets you know if the level is safe or harmful. For very high accuracy readings, you'd need to buy a much more expensive tester.

I know this is a old video but have you noticed that if you dont touch the meter almost always the readings goes to ZERO. the body is making an antenna for this device. Repeat the reading but dont touch the meter.

I have one of these meters. Last night my friend asked to test a cheap bathroom light/socket in his small flat. When the meter was up against the light it maxed out the MAGNETIC field (bottom) reading (99.99). The Mag. field indicator switches from SAFE to HARMFUL at a reading of 0.04 - Mag. fields usually deplete to safe at the distance of a few inches (unlike electrical fields) but this one was still reading around 3.50 at 50 cm distance (where his head is when he's brushing his teeth) - I should consider the appliance extremely hazardous & advise to remove it right?

Cellular base stations are dangerous. It is not clear what antennas are on them and what is their purpose? What types of antennas are in your area?

What do you think? Does your device have a radio frequency measurement function? As in RF Meter Model AM-10. There is no RF function in your device.

I just bought one of these . I'm getting readings of 200-450 all over the house even with the wi-fi turned off . Even some of the walls are reading over 200 where there are no wires that I'm aware of . The only thing I can link this too is that a new LED street light was recently installed that is literally inches from the wall of my house . The kitchen worktops emit over 200 well away from sockets , and they aren't granite . If anyone can point me in the direction of further info I'd be grateful .

Me again . This might sound odd . I'm sure you said people don't emit emf . I don't , but someone just asked me to try it on her and her dog , I told her people didn't emit emf but I tried it anyway .They both measured over 40 V/m on your device , my measurement is 0 V/m and doesn't fluctuate . Ghost hunters usually use tri-field meters to look for EMF's, but this unit can also work. It may not be as sensitive.

@@electronicsNmore I have the exact same model at home and even if I put the EMF meter on top, or on the back of the phone, when the call is on, it does not detect anything, but it detects only if the screen of the phone is on.I tried every scenario, and it really does not work.My unit does not have a malfunction, but it will not detect smartphone radiation, tower radiation, wifi radiation, nothing. Please make a test with a smartphone and demonstrate to everyone that it does detect something from a smartphone or a wifi router.Mine does not detect anything, unless the lcd is on and I am pretty sure smartphone should emit radiation with the screen off.

It is not real EMF meter. I'm sure it is just an electric wire detector having huge (too much) amplification. I have real EMF meters and those are made for different bands so you can find out exact measurements and those are much more expensive too. This is not such kind of meter which you can use when trying to find real health hazards as it reacts even near 50/60 Hz wall socket. I am senior telecommunication engineer and have examined EMF for decades. It needs much more accurate and very selective meters. I use Gigahertz equipments which are reasonable good for the prize but not real laboratory meters. No, I am not those EHS sufferers but try to enlighten people not to buy any kind of expensive junk somebody are selling. I know that there are real EHS sufferers but it needs huge field of strength like large radio transmitter in the same room you are. This is not very clear situation yet. Anyway, I wouldn't keep my cell phone in my ear all the day. If you would like to openyour meter and show how it is constructed, I could possibly tell more about it but I'm quite sure that this looks normal AC detector inside plus some electronics for amplifying the signal for meter and .beeping circuit. To test if it can detect really harmful signals, go near you microwave oven an see if it can detect the radiation.The specs say that Testing bandwidth is 5Hz-3500MHz so it must detect micro oven and your WLAN and cell phone etc. Every micro oven leaks and real (broadband) meter shows it easily. It may be difficult to see if the detection is from microwaves or AC but it is possible. Also it should beep really bad if you put it near your mobile phone taking call. Very low frequency EMF (like power lines) can be very bad and it is now very important to study how near the power lines you can build homes. That is what you showed in the field test on the end of your video. And perhaps that is the main purpose of this meter. Sorry, this was just tooo long article.

No need for the average person to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on extremely sensitive and highly accurate electronic meters. You missed the point of the video.

Did it tell that near cell phone the EMF is dangerous? And what is the distance when it tells it is safe to use? That really interests me. I am just saying that you shouldn't rely to the readings as it is impossible to build a cheap meter which tells real values over the bandwidth of 5Hz-3500MHz as the specs tell. I am slightly concerned that people believe this meter too much and get afraid of their environment . Those Gigahertz meters are quite cheap and are around $ 300 - 500 so not hundreds of thousands.

Man, we been have surrounded of that for decades. It never killed anyone. I don’t believe that can cause huge health problems. But if you can’t stand that so go by a cabin in the wood free of electricity or wifi. And for the dumbest ones, don’t choose your cabin under high tension wire or close to pylons.
