In this video we look at a low cost-to-build Enduro EBike.
What's nice about this bike is that it has front and rear signals, front light, rear light + brake light, horn, 4 piston hydraulic brakes with cutoffs, motorcycle tires and wheels, a powerful 3KW motor, 72V60A (4200W) controller and 72V 38AH battery, which are all very decent specs, and it still is super economical to build.

I'm building a similar Ebike. with exactly the same frame. Bought everything separate. I'll also build the 84v battery pack out of scooter batteries. But i bought them much cheaper. Fox rear air suspension & good tektro hydraulic brakes & real carbon fibre panels & more. Believe it or not Repairing salvaging & buying pre-owned parts will save a lot of money. Altogether only cost me £360 for everything.

the 5000 watt only with the accelerator is fine for climbs and is it true that 5000 watts is the peak power and the nominal continuous power is around 2500 3000 in maximum pas mode? I hope you will answer me and don't leave me years and years in waiting for a reply thanks.

Can you limit the watt power through the bikes display too? Where I live there is a 250watt 15.5mph restriction to use on public roads but no limit on private property/ off roads? Want to build one myself but need something I can adjust as and when needed :)

You can limit the max current down to half of the maximum current and you can set the speed limit to whatever you'd like on the display

Yes 2 people can ride but it's a bit tight , you might want to consider building a custom seat using a motorcycle saddle (cafe racer saddle is a good search term)

I believe they are M5 and we used Nyloc nuts . We also 3D Printed a bracket that goes to the frame, and then a screws hold the controller to the bracket. If you have this same frame email and are using the same controller email us for the file

Hey I just checked and they seem to work on Desktop, I changed the frame link to the Alibaba link. I think we have around $2500 - $3000 CAD into this bike which is really not bad for the specs! If you can find a fork off Ebay that helps a lot as the forks can be hard to get at a reasonable price.

Surron is definitely the better off road machine, these are the better on-road machine. Totally silent with law abiding functional pedals. A Surron battery upgrade of equivalent capacity (72V50AH) is more than the cost of this whole bike. We have 2 Surrons , they are wicked off road machines without any doubt. But they're a dirt bike, not an electric bicycle, you're WAY more likely to be fined riding a Surron on the road.

Sweet bike! Have you used those scooter battery packs before? Wondering how they hold up over time.
@ElectricBikeLaboratory
@ElectricBikeLaboratory Год назад
Thank you! Appreciate your comment!! Full disclosure of course we do sell the scooter packs but they're also sold by BatteryClearingHouse and JAG35 so there are other places to get them, but I find that they work really well! They're super compact, they're a honeycomb design which really compacts them together. The cells themselves are very solid, not crazy good but when the pack is built enough to enough amp-hours it makes for a really solid pack. We're getting like 80km of pretty hard riding on a charge and if you ride it in assist that number can really go up. LG MH1 Cells are sort of at the cross section between capacity / performance / price. They're rated at 10A continuous discharge and 3180mah. They will have quite a big of sag at 10A current draw though. This pack is pulling about 5A from each cell max (60A). The bike can still go 75km/hr! Which is already twice the legal limit of an EBike, but the display easily allows you to set the speed limit to any speed including legal limits.
