Effort Level 3 out of 5. Research has shown that riders can be considered skilled riders if they have mobile hip joints and this is even more important than balance (Uldahl et al. 2021). At first, it may not be easy to create fluency and restrictions may be apparent but it does not take long to get the flow. Not recommended for those with hip pain or instability unless recommended by a medic.
Formulated for equestrians but others will find it an effective hip joint stretching technique.
