RAF Lakenheath are flying regular low level sorties with their awesome F-35A Lightning II jets through the Mach Loop and LFA7 in North Wales. The 493rd Grim Reapers and the re-established 495th Valkyries are almost up to full squadron numbers now with over 40 stealth jets currently stationed at Lakenheath.
These jets were flying as LIBERTY flight of four on the day.
It is truly incredible to see how far we've come in a relatively short space of time. If you'd have told me a few years ago that flights of fully operational stealth jets would be flying low level sorties through the Mach Loop from bases in England I don't think I'd have believe you.
Also in the video are T-6 Texan IIs and a Hawk T.2 from RAF Valley. Oh and a Ferrari 488 GTB. I don't normally shoot cars but it made such a great noise I couldn't help myself!
