Not trusting your doglike companion is probably the most inexcusable one here. Taking more than 5 seconds to determine if you're looking at a clones face has at least SOME excuse, especially in a galaxy that big. Surprise sandwich attack was the best and only option he had. The fist of steel guy did the only thing he could, you can see his gun had been shot out of his hand, so his option was swing fists or accept death. Not like they had any choice, even if they did listen to Kosmo. Plus they didn't exactly know what they were up against, they may not have seen the Zilo beast themselves. Trauma was just trying to lead his men in a charge against a brand new never-seen-before threat, he didn't know Savage was such a brute tank. Running towards Krell could put pressure on Krell, which could make him mess up. He could've also been hoping to get past Krell's guard since Krell had a LOT to focus on right then. There's really no excuse not to trust Grizzer and check out whatever he's growling at. He's a damn dog, he smells and senses things you can't. They were rookies, this is the first time they've fought something that wasn't programmed to fight when they were ready. Plus it's just stupid of the republic to put Rookies in charge of defending Kamino. Generator maintenance droids isn't that out of the ordinary, and with sentient droids being normal in the galaxy it wouldn't seem far fetched for them to go the wrong way. It's kinda just a bad timed comment. He wasn't shooting his blaster so he was probably out of ammo, only choice left was to use his blaster as a melee weapon. He wasn't wearing pilot gear so maybe he wasn't actually a pilot, with the empire treating clones so poorly it doesn't seem far fetched for them to chuck a infantryman into a cockpit.

The dumbest clone trooper is easily Fox because he does pretty much all of his stuff blindly from not recognizing demolition droids to trying to shoot Darth Vader
