It’s more like the better the deck is the less creativity and skill required. But Jank has some goofy mechanics that require a great deal of creativity that is interesting to watch

Nah two good duelist specifically having a back and forth is the best thing in yugioh. The game is so focused on “7 interruptions and a floodgate” that when you get the chess game it’s awesome

Brick-eyes White Dragon in another level of brickness. . That Generaider should win if they understand how Rank-up spell work, it only usable in Main Phase. He can banish the spell with Cosmic and opponent cannot summon Kali Yuga.

I always love seeing Blackwing Full Armor Master summoned by the opponent. So I can Kaiju/L-Golem'd it into oblivion. ...I think I got PTSD from the first time I saw it being player against me with its "unaffected by other cards' effects". So I imagine a giant kaiju or golem just stepping on it as it is Special Summoned like... "Oops."

Dark armed was cheated out of the extra deck so the rank up magic is able to work on it. Cheated out xyz cards don’t get any materials.

speedroids don't gain much value from grass. the only cards that are particularly helpful to dump are dukes, almost everything else can't be used until the next turn

The Phantom Knights' Rank-Up-Magic Launch (that's the set card that was in play) allows you to rank up to a dark monster that's one rank higher than whatever dark xyz monster you tribute. And because it's a quick effect, you can rank up into kali yuga on your opponent's turn (because its a rank 8 and a rank 7 was tributed)
