Playing non meta decks is the best way to play Yugioh imo, I'll never forget when me and my brother had Slifer and Obelisk on the field when recreating Battle City Yugi vs Kaiba.

Competitive yugioh is toxic because of yugioh's design. I mean yugioh is fast paced and quite oriented on combos (with some control decks here and there) so at high level there will be degenerate unfun stuff.

Not sure if there're still a card left in extra deck that HERO player can use Cipher X as material for Super Poly. At 11:45 HERO player doesn't read that he can't target Cipher X with Sunrise's effect because it has detached 2 material last turn. HERO player should use God Slime & Shining to summon Absolute Zero. Pop Absolute Zero with Sunrise's effect to non target destroy Cipher X by making Absolute Zero leave the field. Sunrise alone is enough to get the win, What a pity.

My 2 most notable experiences with janky Striker Orcust builds were a Casual Duel game against a Bandit Keith wannabe where I only got to see my Striker stuff until getting to an Orcustrated Babel they scooped after I activated(it was a bluff), and a recent Theme Chronicle game against a Crusadia player where I did nothing for 3 full turns because I refused to commit into a potential OTK, my patience paid off as they eventually dropped down a Link-1, which was all I needed to set up an OTK once I could get to Drones+Roze.

Low Ranked is really interesting to watch than High Ranked for fun, you really will be surprised most of the time. First Duel: Skeletor dies at the time limit. Second Duel: White Woman Jumpscare. Third Duel: Creature Swap.

Aside from the people who save selftk bot duels for some reason, duel live is great. Most recent one I watched was a pend magician player hard throwing by pend summoning into the Equimax link arrow and passing. They had 2 bodies, idk why they passed without summoning something else but they did.

That was one of the most brutal throws I have even seen by the Hero player. All they had to do was target the Cipher Dragon... Edit: I can't read. God Slime prevents other cards from being targeted or attacked. He was just cooked.

This was fun and he does put up videos doing it from time to time, but he probably doesn't do it more regularly because Duel Live commentaries are a big part of Danny/LukeVonKarma's content, especially since he watches Danny and comments in chat at times, and he didn't want it to look like he was stealing Danny's bit. There was already a bit of Discourse surrounding it in the comments when he did it two weeks in a row, and it's very possible that just feels like a drama bomb he doesn't want to unleash.

Like personally I think it'd be fine- having watched them both they have different appeals imo- LVK is more like you're watching along with a React channel as he provides basic context and goes nuts about the crazy shit going down, while Coder is closer to a sports commentator, but like.. obviously some other people don't agree and I get not wanting to risk dealing with that.

I think I prefer this low-ladder commentary than Distant commentating his own games. Entertaining host, but there's some sore loserdom that pops up often enough where it's not funny so much uncomfortable to watch. If he sees this comment, please take it as constructive criticism rather than hate.

the poly wouldn't work God Slime protects Cipher from being targeted. I think ab zero could have been an out though. Though they also have literally no gas at that point so it's still anybody's game, I think?

I’m mostly playing in the silver and gold ranks just cause it’s fun and wild. Platinum is where it’s competitive. But let me tell you. Lol I logged in yesterday to play. And my first three games were. 1)tearlaments/ishizu my thoughts were just “wtf is this madness” 2)mayashaki full power. Dude was popping off. Lol summoned 13 out of 15 side deck lmao 3)hero’s blend. Which is masked/elemental/vision/destiny and I again I started lmao Lost to mayashaki and tear. Swept the hero’s. I love the gold rank. I always have random decks I’m facing.

There's reasons why I don't even try to reach the top. 1- I don't care and I don't want to, and probably I couldn't since I don't spend much time playing, and my skills are not S tier, maybe A. 2- These duels are insane, and I LOVE to play against random decks, characters decks, etc. Much more funny than just play with and against meta decks. All the same strategy over and over again. Boring af.

The more I rewatch this the more I cringe on the HERO player cause this dude threw the match at turn 3. (Click on Read More to avoid spoilers but also if curious) Here's why the HERO player threw the game. DPE never needed to his effect because since the hero player was gonna crash itself for damage and control. The HERO player had called by the grave and since he could've just hit the Gradle by CBTG then DPE could've been used to deal more damage for game or at least be used to pop called by or any other problematic card the opponent had.

Honestly I never see dules low lvl like this most of the time it’s an old head using old school cards from early 2000 that they grew up on or the I have 300 cards total and this is the best deck I can make with my cards deck. You don’t really see cards with synergy untill gold

i like being a low rank. the only problem is that sometimes i duel a someone who plays half the cards in their deck on the first turn, fusion summons several gods of mythos, then damages me by 1000 LP if i so much as breathe on one of my cards.
