I remember watching that live. At first, Dale was ACTUALLY legitimately impressed and even intimidated by that guy's Geras, as he went several rounds of trying to cheese him out with Reiko Shurikens and even had the gall to be proud when the "cheese him out with chip damage" strategy worked. Then, the Geras adapted--something Dale cant do--and Dale begun to get frustrated and I think realized he was legitimately scared of this Geras, hence the swap to Rain. It got cut, but Dale even begins to insult the Geras player before swapping to Rain, in an attempt to salvage his now damaged ego. Now, he gets on Rain and gets Klapped again and now suddenly the Geras player is "sorry" and "corny". Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you: Dale. 40 year old man whose ego is so fragile that he'd rather invent a reality in his head where he's better than the other person, even when he's losing, than just having a bit of grace and humility.
I don't think there's ANY problem with like the zoner playstyle. The issue is that the only way you can get away with being a zoner type within the community imo is if you're a likable person. Dale is far from likable 😂
The way Dale talks so arrogantly and pridefully about himself is truly baffling but yet very comedic. He fails to realize tomorrow isn't promised to any of us. Them legs he got will only carry him for so long bruh fr.

I use Shujinko and let him watch the fight from the sidelines and I play the game to make new friends and chill, that probably tells you a lot about how seriously i take MK in general
So... all he did was find the character with the fastest projectile... Spam projectiles, slide, and look for a throw or an assist grab. He had no mastery over the character or combos... and he doesn't even understand how to use assists to extend combos. It's very sad.

If you’re really serious, to “download” someone is fighting game slang/term. When you download someone it just means you figure out their fighting style/pattern and the best way to deal with them

Man I went from watching DSP play this to Dale. I got to atleast give Dale credit he actually is just better than Phil. he does try to learn the game. His problem is the same as DSP though, he can't handle losing and freaks out though. he just looks more in control and seemingly doesn't mess up inputs too often.
Something I notice about DSP and LTG gameplay is that they seem to try to be fancy and then by failing at that, they get their asses handed to them. Then they complain about the opponents using regular "random" and "BS" moves to win. I am not the best player but I feel even I could beat the crap out of players like these lolcows.
