Cut it TWICE 90% through... then use a screwdriver or thin chisel to bend up the bushing outer cage ring ( to avoid damage to the Lower Control Arm. Torch heat also can help expand the hole. To put the new one in... need an anvil and 5 lb sledge hammer. I ground the lip of the exterior of the new bushing just a little bit to get it started in the hole. Tap it all around - get it in a little bit. Then place the other BUSHING edge on the edge of the anvil and strike the back of the LCA lower control arm... do alternate sides back and forth. Hit it kind of hard once it starts to go in aligned correctly. Did mine just this morning. Worked like a charm. No damage to the new bushing... only slight deform to back of LCA. No issue. To get the hacksaw blade in there.. take apart the hacksaw ( loosen screw ) put the blade in the hole & reassemble the hand hack saw. Tight. To reduce friction & rubber gripping, I drill out the rubber at the intended saw cut location. Makes it easier.
