I can relate to his story. Till march, I regularly used to play cricket and go to gym. Then while playing cricket I broke my finger, which led to sedentary lifestyle for 2 months. Suddenly, I realised that I am having lower back pain. I went to family physiotherapist and she did sessions for a week and I felt better. I was excited to play cricket again. Therefore, I did warm up excercises for 1 week and therapist suggested I can play again. After playing I felt sharp pain again and she told me this must be disc issue for sure. I thought now it is better to consult orthopaedic. I did and he asked to get MRI done. Result was that I have disc bulge in l3-l4,l4-l5,l5-s1. Doctor said in science there is no treatment for this and it heals on its own with time. I just need to take care of postures. For now I cannot play and go to gym for 2-3 months. Looking forward to being fit again.
I am going through the same L5S1 disc bulge man this shit is so frustrating and being an athlete its like a trauma to just sit and wait for the recovery it has been 6weeks of rest and rehab now some pain is reduced but still some pain is still there man just hope this ends within next two weeks so that i can join gym again😞😞
Same thing happened to me 😭 i have disc bulge and it's been more than 1 month now taking physiotherapy sessions hope it gets recover soon. I was horrified too when i got know about disc bulge and it never going to back normal ever 😢 I'm on full bedrest now .
Hey Ayush , I’m Manisha ( yoga instructor) I’ve developed L4-L5, L5-S1 disc buldge - I’m taking rest for almost 8 weeks now ….. it’s still the same, can you please give me some tips how to recover? ….. should I go to physio ? Or just do some stretching???
Hello See basically to recover from this you have to strengthen your core and lower back muscles I have the best exercises in my recent video But there is a home version of it too Type “back extensions at home” You’ll find the video do that exercise and you’ll slowly feel better and pain being reduced if you still feel pain then no signs of recovery you should visit a doctor

Disc bulge is the disc slightly coming out like a patty coming out of 2 buns. Disc herniation is when that disc also kind of pops and spreads sort of like a chewing gum when it pops on your mouth after you blow it.
Mujhe 2012 me L4L5S1 disk slip hui thi bich bich m 3 bar hui hai or main thik ho jata hu desi dwai se bhi thik ho jati hai kr set ho jati hai darne ki jarurt nhi hai agr kisi ko dawai chahiye ya set krwani ho to bta dene me address dedunga
