Dear Michelle, thank you for this excersize. I'm in my 3rd trimester and my back started killing me. Everyone told me that back pain is "normal" for this pregnancy phase, but I found this video, and I was practicing these excersizes twice a day, in combination with a lot of walking and it did a real magic for me. Thank you once again. Greetings from Croatia!
I tried this last night while I was in such need for back pain relief as I am 17 weeks pregnant. This helped so much! My headache from the pain went away after ten minutes and I was able to walk around my home effortlessly without needing to stop bc of the pain. I really appreciate your work and I will keep this video for future reference.
@Abigail Lydia Wonderful news! I'm so glad to know this helped you. Thank you so much for your feedback and support Abigail, all the best to you for your pregnancy and upcoming birth ❤️🌺
I am in month 7 and for the last 2 weeks my back bones and muscles ache so bad. I cant even walk most of the time. I hope this will help. Edit; this worked like magic. I did the exercises and slept. The next day my pain went away slowly and now I did it again. I feel sooo good. I have no pain or discomfort at all. I will keep doing these until birth. Thanks !!!
Oh my word! I feel like “where has this video been all my life, let alone during pregnancy!” Such an awesome stretch... Oh my goodness I feel so relaxed and calm and in control of my body (as in not a victim to pain) ... I could cry of relief! Thank you so much for this video ♥️♥️♥️
@TashieTough You're so welcome! Thank you so much for taking the time to comment! I really value and appreciate your support, glad this helped! All the best to you for your pregnancy and upcoming birth ❤️🌺
Experiencing so much back pain, all kinds of back pain during my 4th month. And here I am, at 11pm, beside my snoring husband, had to search for a good stretch. Will try this tomorrow morning. Hope this lessen the pain or make it go away. 😊
These were perfect. My low back spasming after long drive in car and i was in tears. These stretches combined w the slow deep breath helped immensely. Thank you! Do you have a foam roller stretch as well. That hss alsonbeen helpful. I love that you specialize in prenatal
I'm 40+3 today. My back pain yesterday just hit the roof. I haven't gotten any sleep last night or this night. Doesn't matter how I sleep, the pain is always here, I'm getting up, changing positions, nothing helps! I'm really trying to be grateful and think of baby haha. I just want to cry because it hurts so bad. I'm currently in the tub, seems like it's the only thing that helps me right now... I will definitely try those exercises after! Hoping they will help my back 😭🤞
Thank you so much for this! I am 12 weeks and had been in pain for a week, I thought it was going to last forever, but these excercises really helped me!! I feel almost totally relieved now. I did them once this afternoon and ended up feeling so relaxed that I had to take a nap, then woke up feeling so much better.
Thank you for the excercises, they helped me in my pregnancy! And also i like you very much as in this short video, you seem so kind, glad i found this video :)
I have mild scoliosis and have suffered from awful back pain for years. In pregnancy my lower back pain has now turned into all over back pain but these stretches coupled with weekly massage gun use has really really helped. Means I’m able to sleep!
Is it ok to do these stretches more than once a day? Can I stay in one position for a bit longer? I noticed some movements make my back feel so relaxed. Also, can you do them if you just gave birth and had an epidural? Thank you so much for the video! It really helps, especially when I have a toddler that keeps moving around and I'm in my 3rd trimester.
Hello! I love your excersices! I am looking for a new routine. I have two herniated disc and I am in Pregnant, can you maybe do a video with this special conditions? Thank you very very much. Blessings and hugs. Linnet
Hi I just tried it right now, I'm 29weeks pregnant right now starting to feel minimal back pains so I searched for videos that can help me and thankyou because your exercise feels really good.. I just wanna ask if what will be your recommendation for this stretches. Should I do this everyday or is there any time frame you can provide for me to this every week? Hope you'll reply ☺️
Hi Rica you can do these stretches gently every day if you choose to, preferably when your body is warm not first thing after waking - better after moving around. All the best for your pregnancy!

Hi there! I really appreciate these exercises, so thank you for your video! Just out of curiosity: is there a reason why, for the cat cow variation, you encourage breathing in when curving the back up, and out when returning to flat back? This is the opposite breathing pattern for typical cat cow, so I was just wondering.
Good qn Christin, this just feels comfortable for me, no hard and fast rule on this one and if I think about it, makes sense to exhale during the cat pose when the lungs are more restricted so thank you for pointing this out!
Yes Pooja these exercises are suited to all stages of pregnancy, there is no lying down flat on your back. Just keep them all within your personal range of comfort and enjoy - all the best for your new baby
Hi dear such a good exercise demo , I m 5 month pregnant and I m already having lower back muscles stiffness , which are very painful I cnt take medicines now , so plz guide me can I do this exercise ? Lots of love from Pakistan ❤️❤️
I went through 7 pregnancies my hips hurt so very bad si joint is I guess the culprit I had L5S1 fusion done on my back too along with other abdominal surgeries I also have bursitis in both my shoulders...so I guess I just can't do any work outs without discomforting one thing or another...no pain no gain I guess till I get in shape at 3 month mark
At 2 months you can still do most stretching exercises however take care to avoid overstretching as your tissues will be starting to become flexible. From 16 weeks avoid stretches and exercises lying on your back, all the best!
I hope it helps you guys but for me it made my pelvic & back pain worse. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m 6 1/2 months but these stretches were painful in every way possible.
@Milena Milanovic Yes you can stay in these positions for longer than I do in this video and repeat in series. The faster transition in this video is simply for the purposes of the video. Keep your stretches comfortable and be mindful of avoiding overstretching during pregnancy when the tissues are more flexible, wishing you all the best!🙏
Before my marriage I am having back pain in l4 L5 now I get married now I am pregnant for 3 month my back pain is severe in l4 L5 please give me the suggestible workout videos ma
Hi there, this is something to discuss with your medical caregiver, unfortunately sometimes intervention is needed despite our intentions. Try to plan with your caregiver and make clear your hopes for your birth plan before the event and at what stage you would want intervention if it's required, all the best!
@pmeghna65 Combination of exercises, whole body exercise such as brisk walking baby in pram 4-5 days per week at least 30 mins at a time plus, specific gentle core abdominal exercises see here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qfoW2PKugyk.html will firm the belly. Avoid sit ups/abdominal curl exercises - they won’t flatten the belly and will increase pressure on the pelvic floor. All the best🙏
