tired of the rotary knob protruding so far from the ultra compact radio ? here´s my solution..... Quick and dirty... Print file available here: www.printables...
A tip, if you change the encoder, use a plum type encoder instead a half axle type, it fits better for any type of knobs, 15mm length is nice for small knobs.
I know, it´s not rocket science. But some people need to see it so they know it can be done. Not everyone has the same level of experience or knowledge. 73 Manuel; DL2MAN
Please tell me what power should be the version with classic bands of 80,40,20,15,10 MHz? On the FDT86256 transistor. I can’t find it anywhere. I have doubts that I misconfigured the transmitter. Thank you!
Power is irrelevant ! It depends on input voltage and doesn´t matter if 3W or 5W. Shouldn´t be over 6W @13,8V. More important: Goal of tuning is efficiency, not Power ! Efficiency for FDT Variant should be above 70% on any band. For more, please join forum.dl2man.de and ask your questions there. That´s the right platform for discussions like this.
@@dl2man I get more than 70 percent everywhere, except for 21 and 28 MHz. At these frequencies, 61 and 54 percent. I can't manage to set up more than 70.
