thanks on the song I went to college for jazz composition then audio engineering and im 35 now and started making versions when I was 18, tailoring it to the people on the group. change it every trip. made it as a wedding present for a couple I knew my whole life who got married up on mile 18 beach on the salmon in like 30 min as a joke really. turned into my biggest hit with over 200,000 plays which is pretty good for the small Idaho rafting community. I put in on my birthday be it 35,000 or 15,000 cfs on the lower. best time to go besides really low water in late September threw November where bodacious bounce and especially snow hole approach clASS 5 around 2,000 ifs. this year will be my 76 trip. this year its low enough that im stringing a solo ag medowcreek to hellar right after a Yampa trip. bar for 420 miles solo. I GET so board I just row all day in the fast water and takes about 10 days. the slide is huge at 28k plus in my 13 foot boat, similar hydraulics to the right side of Lava Falls but totally doable. early water this year so anything around the 25th of June and you will be fine. and no one on the water including jet boats. stopped going in July August after guiding so much around then and the heat is to much, another early season trip im fond of that no one does is hells canyon around this time. don't see a single soul. hope to see ya on the water

Hahah Thanks! I just got off the lower salmon and i gave the head guide a pair of sunglasses after she lost hers and she said "whats your name ill look you up and send you a card" and i was like "well if you do that the first thing that is going to come up is a song called "i poop in a bucket" the whole crew freaked out and said that listen to it and thought it was funny. called me "river famous" which is probably the best complement come one can get LOLOL.

but yeah I started playing that song on the river when i was about 16 and every year it would morph into more verses with who ever was on the trip. Every trip it got crazier. One time i was camped at the middle camp Nankoweap and had a crazy night that i can barely believe but the other two camps ended up coming to our camp and we formed a huge circle and i just called everyone out, asked their name this gave them a verse. song lasted like 25 mins LOL. i was broke at the time needed to get my good friends a present so i recorded this version for them in like 45 min as a joke and it has now become my only "river hit"lol.

lower salmon, put in is hammer creek, take out is heller bar. its in the Grangeville Lewiston area. My favorite river, the shuttle is really cheep to. check out all river shuttles in whitebird

13 1/2 foot sotar liquid. Absolutely amazing raft. Iv taken it down the selway in high water and took it down the Colorado last year. taking it again in april. My car sucks cause I spend all the money on my baby. heres a video from the Colorado trip.
