Thank you so much for speaking openly about this, you're very informative while still keeping it light and funny! I totally understand and respect why many people choose not to discuss these kind of procedures but I think understanding and openness is so important to acceptance & so it's great that people are comfortable enough to share their experiences. Unfortunately this surgery still gets a lots of bad press, there are loads of very incorrect myths out there. Surgery is now very successful, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing, functioning and sensate penis. I am glad I showed you the other side

It goes to show how gifted you are at expressing difficult concepts that you can use a stuffed lamb, a fake banana, a straw, and other sundry items, to explain a medical procedure and I totally get it. I'm not sure if you already mentioned it, but when is your stage two procedure scheduled?

+friendoftherese1 haha! Did it actually make sense?? Thats awesome! It was very very hard to keep a straight face!!!!! Stage 2 should have happened already but they are having delays due to an increase in numbers and a decrease in available surgeons...am really really hoping it'll be soon!!!

I’ve seen this surgery, but never saw anyone have anything taken from their arm and both testicles and the penis was done at the same time.

I've only recently discovered your videos and for a long time I have been having second third fourth thoughts about transitioning purely because I couldn5 find comprehensive info about the surgery and feeling and pump. Mate. thanks so much for this. I hope this isn't too much of a personal question to ask but... why did you decide on the pump? I've read that it needs to be replaced. I only ask because one day I will have to make this decision and I've always thought of the pump to be the go to.

+Mark McAvoy Hi my friend, I prefer the pump as it allows the penis to be flacid when not erect. With the rod, you have to bend it up for an erection and then bend it down to to put back in your pants. I dont like the idea of that, I like the feeling of my penis hanging and moving freely. The downside is that the pump does need replacing more often

good vid Finnster! I was looking forward to seeing Junior in all his 6 months glory but I'll settle for a one ball sheep with a boner. What an easy to please public I am right? I'm 10 days away from getting my very own Jr. Indeed it seems procedures vary from surgeon to surgeon. I'm getting my appendage from Dr Brassard in Montreal. Thanks finn for this video I'm seeing Dr Christopher at slough myself I saw him in march for the first time and I'm just waiting on a surgery date. I find your videos explain to me a lot more what's going on while at the same time making me smile/laugh and not feeling uncomfortable about the thing being discussed. I'm finding things a bit scary right now as I've waited along time for this I'm 27 almost 28 now . And had top surgery in 2014 but due to mental health and housing issues it took along time to finally be at this stage where physical and mentally ready for this stage (though I have put across I have Been ready a long time) I am kinda glad I had the extra time to grow as a person but in all honesty with being older and wiser I feel you can never really be ready it's just something have to deal with as it comes. But just so happy it's finally here .... soon I hope lol and I can have my little soldier rejoin the battle field lol. But I have been told before it doesn't fix everything. Even in your videos you say this too but my gosh I just can't wait 😆😄😎🙌 Glad your through the hardest part now I know this video is few years old now but I'm just lucky to have you here to help me through with these videos. @@dylanneziraj7802 It’s been 4years since my post, and due to Covid , I still haven’t had the surgery now I’m 32 so I started the journey at 18, actively on the lower surgery list since 2014 after top surgery, and I’m still currently waiting, I met the new surgeon dr Lee September last year, which sparked new hope it would be soon but it’s now may of the next year and I’ve not heard anything . The waiting list is such a nervous thing to bring up as I’ve been told 4-8years (which I’ve already over done so another amount of time would bring me to my 40’s ) So really there isn’t an answer for this as the list is so big and constantly growing And they are trying to train up new surgeons for the procedure, as FTM over MtF is a lot more fiddly you could say so funding and time isn’t really on our sides , but hang in there enjoy the little things in life because waiting , can steal the best years of your life , if your not careful like me What about yourself

My son and I have had some very...um...interesting discussions about phallo since I've watched your progress. He doesn't understand the use of arm skin, as it hardly resembles penis skin. And he has determined the many graft sites to be rather "frankenstein-ish" for doctors to do! We have a theory that one day actual transplants will be available. Of course, I'll be too old to give a damn...but wouldn't that be grand? Love to you as always.

+Charlie Strickland Yes the current graft method is far from ideal, being able to grow tissue will be the next step forward I think. Currently though, forearm skin does give the best results aesthetically and for best sensation. Transplants would be quite strange...imagine having someone else penis! Bless your son! Still sounds so complicated even in those terms. I really want bottom surgery, but I'm still figuring out which type to get. See I'm not so big on the grafts and having metal to connect the erectile device. In other words, I want the finish phalloplasty penis, but not the process to get there. So if I had to get it tomorrow, I would get meta, just to see how I like that. I still have a long way to go before I'm even there, to think about it. I'm getting a hysto/oopho, then hopefully top surgery when I get the chance, then bottom surgery when I can afford it. Thank you so much for sharing:) I'm really happy that you are healing so well and you seem really happy:) Without you, Dr miro's website, and a book, I wouldn't know anything about bottom surgery. Thank you:)

+AndyGriff This is such a big decision as there are so very many options available and we have to work out what is right for us, what risks we are willing to accept and what sacrifices we are willing to make, its not easy! It took me a long time to come t a decision but I am glad I didnt rush, lots of research and talking to trans guys whove had different procedures is key. Read the book hung jury too, really helped me in making my mind up. Thanks my freind, really glad to help in any way I can

Sorry if this seems like a silly question, but once they close up the opening, i understand that the pee tube is connected, but what about orgasms? is that hooked up through the new phallus? or is there no ability for semen type liquids to flow out since the opening is now closed? I have been trying to figure out weather to ever have lower surgery, and i could never find an answer for this one.

+PsychoSpade Not a silly question at all. The use of nerve hook up, as explained, means that orgasm is achieved through the phallus as the nerve from the clitoris gives sensation there. The muscles remain intact inside the vagina, even though its closed up so you still orgasm with those muscles too. There are no testes so we cannot produce semen. Hope that helps!

Also, I apologize if this is a bit personal, but does the sensation remain after you get a phalloplasty? Can you feel anything with it? To be honest, I'm worried about getting a phalloplasty in the future due to fear of losing feeling down there.

+Moe Lewis Yes it does remain, some people seem to go a bit numb and then it returns but I didnt lose any feeling in my old equipment at all. I was able to orgasm at 4 weeks post op. The feeling n my new penis began at 4 months post op and is still patchy and odd but definitely returning!

Thanks so much for the information, there isnt alot of information out there regarding lower surgery. i just recently found your channel after hours of watching others. i have one question that i hope isnt too personal. How much was your lower surgery? Ive only seen one youtuber say how much it was but didnt say what it was for. your type of surgery is around what im looking to do, you also gave me the idea of pump. so thank you for every thing you do for the ftm community and all the information you give us.

I am so sorry I missed this message. In the uk we have healthcare called the NHS and so surgery is funded through that, I think it costs around £50,000.

Thank you for using Lammy Cat and props. He made the explanation more clear than when people just talk about it. And it looked like Lammy Cat's testicle with the pump had eyes! I want to have a phalloplasty sometime in the near future, so thanks for all the info. Also, I'm sooo glad I had a hysterectomy already! One less thing to worry about! I still have ovaries, because I had a bad reaction to T... and I certainly don't wanna take estrogen! Hopefully, the surgeons will let me keep at least one ovary in the whole phallo process, since T is out of the question.

Since they take a nerve from your arm, does your arm lose any feeling?

+FinTheHuman It does a little yes but I think thats also due to having the graft, I still cannot feel much in the graft, though it has increased from what it was. I have full feeling in my hand and fingers though. Many nerves remain in the arm so there is not full loss

Hello I just have a quick question. I realize you have recently had bottom surgery and I commend your level of bravery. I was wondering if you might be able to suggest a decent Pack and Play that you may have used prior to surgery? I am in the market for a new one and have not yet found one. Any suggestions would be much appreciated :)

+TransDroid86 Hi my friend. My personal favorite was the Pee-cock pack pee and play. It sat nicely in my pants, worked perfectly for peeing and was fun in the bedroom too! @@FinnTheInfinncible If it worked for you, that's great. Genuinely happy for you. But a 90% complication rate would beg to differ. It's a dangerous procedure that shouldn't be widely accepted at all

@@qawsedpo where are you getting your statistics from?! Any surgery comes with risks and complications, but that doesn't mean they cannot be resolved with favourable outcomes! The outcome of lower surgery for trans folks is actually very successful, and improving all the time.
