Yeah, I like a bit of a rack as well. Can’t stand for front to sit higher than rear. Prefer the rear to sit about an inch higher than front, because when passenger is in the vehicle the rear will drop a little, so it’s close to level with passenger(s)
How does it ride and why cut the overload when you could have easily removed a middle leaf or 2 ...also i have a 2000s10 blazer lowered but my front needs to be lower thanks for showing that
ride ok in the back the rear ride good not i put all leaf back but the overload leaf front little ruff but its about 1/4 off the rubber stop im putting air ride on it soon getting are the partsnow thanks for watching
Blazin Draging if you ever want to donate them send them my way id be appreciative and maybe we can work something out idk the suspension that is you're actually where im aiming to sit
i made it all out peace from amazon and all i did was cut the coil braked out so the air bags would not rub i uses 2500 bags for the front and was use the same for the rear but never got rear done there allot of kits out there but i buy stuff buy the peace there cheaper for me that way i made my own switch box and all 8 sitch want 10 but could olny find shitch that work for 8 so it would did if i finish the rear could did front , back ,both side, and all 4 tires and other ? just ask ill try to help
Sweet man, and yes I have found a complete kit.. been tossing the idea of baggin it, jus a simple old school block kit or a lift.. but I'm into the old and slow stuff.. so baggin or lowering kits what I wanna do.
i cut 2 off that start at the end of the one upper coil so count down 2 full coil should be when done 2 full loops but if you do not want it to low start with i loop or coil 2 full coil give you about 4 inch thanks for watching
i know but when you do not have the money to get the right one and i only have driven it 50 miles so fare on the cut spring i have most all my stuff for my air ride thanks for watching
@@VloggingCountryShit man, i feel ya on cash being tight because im in the same situation myself. My coworker was telling me i could prolly lower my S-10 for free by either heating or cutting a coil and pulling a leaf-spring or two. Im only where youre rounding off your measurements, but from the previous comments I assume you used those methods? My question is how much of a difference did this make in A your handling, which is about a stupid question speaking from personal experience lol. B how is the ride quality now? I mean i dont wanna make jeopordize my or anyones elses lives or vehicles because of a possible suspension failure. I dont mind buying what I need to do it properly. But if its not that big of an issue you cant beat free modifications lol. Im also finishing up a FWD to RWD 2200 engine swap at the moment. Then i need to find quite a few more parts for the truck before it is road worthy. So i have the patience to save up to get a pair of eother spindles or drop coils. I may go ahead and orser blocks after this video.
@@justinfbabay if you cut the coil be best heating them can take the tem out of them if you want to do it on the cheap then just start with 1 coil and put a 3 inch block in the rear and see if you like then if will still handle and ride close to stock by doing this you can use the sway bars but if you want even lower i would never go over 2 coil but start with 1 and see what you like you can always cut more off but can not put more back on thanks for watching
@@VloggingCountry Awesome info dude thank you for the info!! I figure once i get this motor dropped back in i will move on lowering it. Im basically doing it for a visual aid for myself to see how Im gonna like it. So if I get the drop spindles or coils for the front, do I have to also get the drop shocks?9
