Nice! If you play on a single (and not wide) display setup, this view is much better in every aspect than the cockpit view. Don't listen to that morons who say that "It's a simulator, you have to play it from the cockpit!!!", they're one of the biggest problems of simracing. :) If you feel more comfortable with this view, that's better for you, and better for your opponents too.
@goobingtons i don't know, but you can't set up this exact view from the menu, you need to use this keyboard shortcuts below while you're on the track (if You play on PC, i don't know how the console versions works): CameraMoveForward = Ctrl + Up CameraMoveBackward = Ctrl + Down CameraMoveUp = Shift + Ctrl + Up CameraMoveDown = Shift + Ctrl + Down
In your Fanatec video you mentioned how you don't wish to support them anymore. I very recently switched to simagic. I don't have a ton of experience with different sim hardware. But simagic alpha base, the 2000 series pedals and the FX steering wheel feel superior to everything I have ever tried before.
I started playing last summer,and on a Logitech g920 or what it’s called,the one that is over 5 years old.smth broken inside it,😂..I got it used from a friend,I dont have much feedback when I turn and is just a little bit inconsistent.but I love it still.i have the platinum license license, 97 overall rating. 8.20s all day on the nur24h. If I would have a decent wheel and pedals or atleast a wheel and pedals that isn’t broken.I would be happy. And probably faster..I wish I could afford fanatech or moza for my series x,I smth that just works.if any body sees this and are buying themselves a new wheel. Pls send me ur old one🤣I love simracing so much that I sank to the depths of begging on the internet 🤣me and my daughter loves it
