as a custom painter (not a lowrider artist by any means), these cars are a work of art and a passion of love. respect the hell out of these jobs. it's no joke to do paint work like this.
Unbelievable, I grew up in Houston, I'm 66 now, so I've seen lowriders for years. While I was never into the lowrider scene, I have to admit the time, effort, and quality of construction, and overall attention to detail still amazes me. I watched the video last night, was blown away. Every inch front to back side to was covered and somehow managed to keep the patterns symmetrical is beyond me. So I'm guessing, a build like that had to be a couple thousand man hours. Salute to you and your crew. Keep rocking it. Have a great day, God bless
Dude males Picasso look like a novice! I watched every minute of this and I’m gonna watch it again when I can escape the wife for while lol… this is absolutely talent at another level the focus and mind state to be in a continuous development on your feet is remarkable and the results speak for them selves . I love low riders there so cool we don’t see them over here really in the Uk it’s a shame if I ever have enough cash I’m sending you the car of my dreams dude 🙏👌👍😇
man señor that's so involved ...I see how these paint jobs go for 30k...thats work and you must an incredible artist too...te esta quedando muy bonito Señor...holy smokes I watched till the end...thats NOT 30k...130k you gotta be kidding me...I wouldn't drive that thing a foot...what a work of art and passion....incredible bro many blessings
great work lot of work i never seen anybody touch the paint so much i would be scared of body oil contamination but its works for you trophy tells the story
What a delightful experience to see a true master at work . I’m saving this video for inspiration and joy. God bless you with health and long life to continue enjoying your art.
Beautiful, this car would have easily won the Riddler Award but you can't show it until the day of show Amazing work...!!! Amazing one of the best builds ever of any car period*(Top5) #Sema # World of Wheels car show etc. the world needs to see this car...!!! Also would love to see it with a Chrome engraved Chain steering wheel *🤔⚡️ With 58' impala or similar styling !
Kudos man. I've done a lot of lace and acetylene jobs, bikes, cars and boats but I do not have that artistic view to blend all of those colors together so beautifully. You mentioned the intricacies of the job, it's those details that you recognize that I wouldn't. Always incredible work.
I absolutely Love the artistry. This while I am trying to build a simple tribute S10 called Bingo. I wish I knew how to reach you. This little bagged S10 is no where near the caliber of car but has tremendous meaning in memory as it was Mommas Bingo transportation for decades.
I just came back to finish watching this video .. That car is a work of art I’ve seen some good painters but damn those guys are at the top !! GOOD JOB GUYS
I'm in Chicago Illinois and I'm an old school hot Rods type. And I'm telling you I watched the video from beginning to end and my God in heaven man I've never seen anything like this. . I was supposed to pick my wife up from the grocery store a long time ago I hope she's okay
My goodness or should I say oh my god did I just 👀 that what a masterpiece 63 Impala hardtop I mean flawless the craftdmanship etc Its things on this rider I've never seen on a low low before did they just hand him his lowrider of year trophy 🏆 early already before entering the contest 🙏
A really good video. And i make videos. this was well done. the Car meh its ok. Looks like a multi time winner with EVERYTHING plus the kitchen sink. The welding work thats insane. The fabrication is on an entirely different level. The painting process and the challenges with the reducer and wrinkles. Helps armatures like me feel ok it even happens to the most elite leaders of the new and old lowrider world. Dang how eye opening. I look forward to see this car one day. Id love to see it next to double trouble just to admire both at the same time in the same place. Kobe and Jordan right there.
and my brother was worried it wasnt good enough .... i was worried about them seats do you know what it takes to get the white ones? .... get the boat buy the boat please
the rolls royce is better so dont worry about what is in there we dont know and dont want to find out you understand who else is missing a bentley? the car not the kid
IN 1963 5 "MARK2" 427 "mystery engines" were built and raced at daytona, winning the 2 preliminary 100 mile races and also set the track stock car speed record. They were the prototype of the 396 and later the 454.
The paint heated back up is why it wrinkled up ppg one stage is very bad about it .. Flash time has a lot to do with it also or when you wet it again with the other color it heated back up ..
This is the first time I have seen your videos, is obvious why this one caught my attention, your design, work and explanation of process is at a high level, your color palette 🎨 and thought process is the mark of a fine artist, your calm demeanor is a great example for anyone interested in attempting even the basic custom paint job…or anything difficult in life for that matter, and last, but not least when I hear you mention your faith in God Brother that seals the deal, much props to you CM 🙏🏾
Chris roarks car was amazing! No one sees the extra body mods and moldings, places that were completely reworked. Platinum choice and final score is a hard match-up too judge. Way 2 hard 2 judge!
The paint is out of this world, the metal work & engineering would put NASA to shame , the engraving is next level, the whole car has turned my brain into mush & flushed it down a black hole I have never seen something this amazing before God bless & I can't wait to see the next brain wave you have on the next vehicle
I can't imagine the hours and hours spent on this car. Here's a question for you - Why were the seams in the sheet metal panel that runs L to R between the rear glass and trunk not filled in? I thought the question might be answered when I saw the finished paint job. let me know / thanks
Great job 👍 I have a question for you, what color do you recommend for a base when you paint yellow? I'm planning on putting on gold micro flake on top of the yellow paint in clear coat. The yellow is single stage paint btw. I'm thinking about dusting the gold micro flake in clear coat then 3 wet clear coats over that. Just asking your opinion about how going about it? Thanks for any advice 👍
Solid colors better ! No pattern except pin strips on the sides. Pattern paint trend is long outta style like the trucks with their box bed hydraulics. Patterns are TJ style
old skool flake went out of business few yrs ago and ive been looking for some shifty red and shifty purple...if you know anyone who has any would be appreciated. i have been looking. have a repair to do and cant find any
It's sad that Henry Lewis his channel is not getting the credit for all these views because these are just repost of his video. One thing will be posted one video and sharing the link for his videos to get the views attraction for his channel
Candy Man, you are a definite Brain Child paint creator Sir ! I very much admire your talent. I have seen the 58 also a marvel of a car and I would probably hate to have to judge the two but I personally like the hydrolics of the 63 far more than the 58 as well as I like the style of your paint work being a fresh new style. I hope you guys won because although you guys are infact winners regardless, you all deserve the win . God bless from Jimmy in Tennessee.
I cant believe you mixed the kk like that. I wiuld be paranoid as hell to do that with my materials. But then again im poor. Lol im still afraid to try that. I use the usc01
We all agree there's a whole lot of talent and time spent learning the craft/art/trade of painting. The guy surely makes some $$ at his hobby - that makes him a winner. I'd be embarrassed to be seen in the car.
