Thank you! You've been a big help. I cleaned up my wiring thanks to your videos on my 77 impala wagon. I put a wiring block, fuse and coiled the wires like you do. Trying to sell it. I want to build out my 79 monte
Is this your truck in this video. I can’t wait to start working on my projects. I’m blessed to know you and have met you homie. You know your stuff homie.
What kind of welder do I need?I have a cutlass but since I joined your channel I learned I got a trashy job done and thought about rebuilding my self. Thanks and keep the videos coming 👍
I have a Lincoln 180 nascar series welder, I think. I use .030 wire with argon gas. It works for me. If you cant afford the argon gas then make sure to buy wire with flux, Its called inner shield welding wire.
How can i tell what pump has the #9 gear and #11 gear..i hit the front and it seems weak but i hit back pump and its fast ..im running 2 pumps 4 dumps with 6 batteries and two solenoid blocks ..I KNOW ONE PUMP HAS 9 and one has 11 ..but im not sure what pump had what when it was installed
@@ericv4152 im going to guess that you have two banks of batteries. 3 batteries for the front pump, 3 batteries for the rear. You can change your set up to have one bank of batteries and use as many of the six batteries as you want for the front and rear. More batteries to the pump = quicker gear pushing out fluid to the cylinders. Just keep in mind, the more batteries to a pump means more stress on the seals and also the suspension components. You just went from a lay and play to a "chipper" :D
If they click continuously pretty much means they're bad. If they click once when u hit the switch then they're good. You can always test them individually. Check out my video on solenoids, go to my videos, it's one of my first videos.
For standing 3 I do recommend wrapping the frame, for example if you leave your car on 3 for an entire car show, it will need to be wrapped. If you do a standing 3 for a couple of mins at a time then the stress points are good enough.
