Question, do I have to diss connect the main battery when welding also do I have to disconnect anything other than my quick disconnect to the hydraulics???
Hey good brother I have another question I’m putting a piston pump in is it a 1/2 NPTx 3/8 female 90 swivel I have 3/8 fittings on my old pump what fittings do I need to put it together is it 1/2 and 3/8 or all 1/2 for piston pumps
If it took you an hour and you have done it before. For me, I am thinking a day to disassemble. A day for the template and pattern. A day to weld and a day to reassemble. So maybe three weekends. Lol
Oh yeah it was just a hour bending the metal and welding it I wish I could do a tear down and cut templates and weld it in that fast thay would be nice
If I just want to do lay and play on my 61 impala convertible what parts should I wrap? The wheels will never leave the ground (won't have much power and only 2 dumpks total so can't 3 wheel). Can I get away with just reinforcing the spring pockets? I want to keep as much of the OG vert frame look as possible, but if it needs more reinforcement I am willing to do so to not ruin my car.
Honestly with a convertible I would do as much reinforcements as possible i have only delt with a few convertibles and I am always very suprised how week they are you can lift the car with a jack and watch body gaps change. Not to mention the value of convertibles it's a good investment to keep that value
@@thecadillacdanshow8658 Ok I will have it fully wrapped then! I was originally going to do that, but then I was told I didn't need to for what I was doing. I think I rather be safe than sorry.
Gm broi got a question I have a 1995 Lincoln town car I replaced my upper control arm bushings and they not going in the way the came out would I have to Bend them back it look lik since they was real bad they bent it of so they don’t line up
The arm may be bent I cant remember if that year had dog bones or not if it does that may be bent also make sure your bushing pressed in square that could make things not line up sometimes it helps to freeze the bushings it will shrink them
