+simhopp A dog can easily follow a scent when it's being transported in a veichle? It's not like the scent just get erased from history if you close a door and the dog is on the other side, it can still smell you, and they can smell the scent from cars to and follow it all the way to the hospital. She could have easily done that :3
There are dogs who can trace humans across countries. Where they even tested it by a person rolling in mud, and running through a river to get rid of the scent, but the dogs always ended up finding the person. Dogs are really good at tracking. There's even a TV Show in Canada, where every episode someone signs up to run through the forest well a blood hound tracks them. If they get across to the check point they win 50,000 dollars, but the dog has always won lol. I've never seen a person beat the dog before. And each episode, everyone does the same thing. Roll in mud, cover themselves in bear/deer pee and poop, cross over lakes and rivers, and they always lose. It's stupid entertaining.
oh yes, I lost my brothers on a walk through town when I was 7, and I was wandering around for about half an hour and then our dog Bruce came running toward me and when we were walking he lead me down the street to our home.
@@lisapina6412 - I don't have a dog anymore, but the last dog I had, before leaving the home where I grew up, was named Fluffy. I had to give him away when I moved into the dorms. The lady's sons changed his name to Buddy. I guess that's close enough.
Got so sick with a flu a few years back and I thought I might be dying. Lay on the couch slipping in and out of consciousness. My tiny dog lay on my chest the whole time trying to keep me warm and get me through it. If you feel you've never been properly loved in your life, get a dog.
Or a cat😢 mental health will always prevail , having my missy girl carried me through the darkest of times. It’s so clear how much she loves me and how much we’d do anything for each other
@@slipkn0tic Yep, can't tell you how much I miss my Loki-cat. Chinchilla, smart, beautiful, and LOVED the puppies. Every photo I have of a puppy has Loki close by, watching over the puppy. Dearest heart. He used to cannon-ball his brother Morph up whenever Morph hissed at a puppy. Loki practically brought my little dogs up. He was the BEST, and I don't think I will get any more dogs, as Loki is not here to be part of their character formation. Three years gone, but I still talk about him to Morph and the dogs every day. We will not forget his name, we will not let him disappear from our lives while we live. Loved him more than people.
Around the summer of 2001, my Uncle was in the hospital after having a heart attack (he passed away at the hospital weeks before the 911 terror attacks). He had a little dog that was his little buddy, a wire-haired terrier mix. His health was failing and we worried he wouldn't get better and see his dog again. So we got a big duffle bag and hid the dog inside it. She didn't know what was going on, so she wouldn't sit still. We get to the door of the hospital and we hear her bark once. She found a small hole in the part of the back facing forward. We kept trying to push her head back in as dogs were not permitted inside. We managed to get to the floor my uncle was on when we were noticed by the nurse at the desk. She had seen us come and go many times and knew the situation was grim for my uncle. She sighed and smiled, then looked away and said with a chuckle "I didn't see anything." My uncle got to see his little buddy one last time. He passed away on his birthday that August.
At least the two of them are reunited now. I can't wait to see all of my animal buddies up there in heaven when I pass. It will all be worth it to see them all again.
When i was 14, A man followed me on my way home. It was 10PM that time and i dont find any other people passing by. I was so nervous that i ran, the man ran too, chasing me. I was so scared, crying and running at the same time. until my 9 yr old dog and 7 yr old dog showed up from somewhere barking and chasing the man. The man then started running way. I was relieved and thankful. Since then, My dog then started waiting me at the bus stop everyday until I went to college. I missed them so much, they died january & march 2017.
WOW!!! AWESOME STORY!!! Totally took a duty over your well being! Animals are telepathic so they knew you were in trouble! But to end the story by telling how your dogs then showed up to chaperone you to home every day ever since is well beong AWESOME!!! Amazing amazing wonderful dog!!! ❤❤❤
I don’t know why but my bullshit detector is pinging on this one. I feel like they just got the CCTV of a random dog walking into a hospital and just found people to go along with their made up heart-warming story to pump out some original dog-related news. Not that dogs don’t have a good sense of smell, but for most domestic breeds it’s not that good, and something about the video just seems off; like it’s being forced
You also have to remember how big the world is from the dogs perspective with all of those cars flying down the street, and the moment it walks into a hospital with hundreds of doors to pick from and multiple floors.
I have a rescue who is very, very, very protective of me. Barks @ blowing leaves, strange sounds, dashes from the back yard to the front to chase things away. Follows me around & even barks @ my other two dogs to stay away. He sleeps on my bed as a final line of defense against intruders. All three sleep in my room facing the door, ready to leap into action if need be.
When I was about 10 years old my father didn’t really like dogs and my mother had a poodle that he wanted to give away. The new owner loved our dog. So with my mother agreeing to it we decided to let her go to her new owner. The new owner lived like 9 miles away from us and one day she escaped her new owners house and came back to us. We realized what we meant to her and what she meant to us. So she has been with us and has enjoyed her life to the very end in peace ❤️
Years ago my moms friend who lived two towns over used to visit us with her dog! One day her dog showed up at my door I noticed she was bleeding and dirty so I called her owner. The owner said she had jumped out her window while she was shopping a couple days prior and had been missing. It amazed me that the dog had remembered my home knowing her owner had visited. It’s just admirable how smart these pups are ❤
Oh yeah.. that's why some dogs MAUL THEIR OWNERS and some humans GIVE THEIR ORGANS TO SOMEONE THEY HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE. Stop generalizing! Some people are good, some are not. Dogs are irrational, if they were RATIONAL they would be just like us. Rationality is a gift that comes with its bad side as well. It's easy to be loyal when you don't have a brain capable of making goals. Sad truth? Maybe. But truth nonetheless.
Rafaela B. you are unfortunately so predictable in the world of social media...someone posts something sweet and uplifting and some negative asswhole has to use it as a forum about their own small, hateful life.
+Kelli Fultz What's sweet and uplifting about saying that dogs are more loyal than humans? I don't live a hateful life, I'm simply realistic unlike most people, who believe what they WANT TO believe. But then again, I guess truth hurts for some people.
I once fell on a ladder while i was changing light bulbs. I was on the floor for nearly an hour and my dog just stares at me for 5 minutes and went outside to play on the backyard. But i have cat too. She was just staring at me till i stood up. Gave me one little meow. I believe he meant to say, "stupid". Edit: I didnt wine or scream, i was silent the entire time while cussing non stop on my mind. Dog is a shitzu, she's still alive. The cat is a persian mixed with something and he died 2 years ago.
O etime my X was super sick and laying.on the couch agonising. Dog comes over sniffs him then still his whole dinner on the table right in his face cause she saw he couldnt do shit about it. I let her cause he was a prick.
Yeah man it's insane how dogs can do stuff like this. When I was little we had a miniature pinscher and a dalmatian at one point, but unfortunately they would fight sometimes and it was really bad for the little one obviously so... My grandma gave her to a farmer. Guy took her to his farm in God knows where, mind you we lived downtown so... It was a WAYS from there. Not one week after, she was at the gate barking, covered in mud from the pig pen she'd wallowed in. And she was a senior dog at that point, too. I'll never forget that.
My dog did this with my grandmother when I was a kid. He made it to the second floor and got to her room. We got a call from the hospital telling us they had our dog. The hospital was 3 miles away.

To be fair for a dog to be loyal you have to be loyal back. And what about dogs that kill other animals and people are they loyal as well, and would u also want that type of dog?(a killer dog)
I had a neighbour who lived alone with his dog. When the gentleman passed away (of old age) the dog stopped eating and died not long after. And when I was studying and I had to go away for some time my dog also wouldn't eat in the first few days and he stayed by the front door all day just waiting with a sad look. When I came back he literally flew into the air, he jumped into my arms it was the sweetest thing. I really miss him. 💖
I have a border collie his name is rascal. We had only had rascal about 2 years everything was find ,my husband worked nights and had gone to work .In the middle of the night I woke up feeling unwell went to the bathroom and collapsed on the floor .rascal lay across me to keep me warm as it was a freezing night. my husband finished his shift early because of the weather came home to find me on the floor called an ambulance and found out I am diabetic. 12 years later I am still hear and so is rascal my constant companion.
My dog had Evangelicals beat paws down!😇 He wasn't sanctimonious, arrogant, judgemental, hateful, vindictive, and punitive! And he didn't have to find Christ to be loving, forgiving, faithful, , trusting, and nonjudgmental! Wow!
I have a Westie and years ago when she was a puppy she was so energetic everytime she greeted people. I came back from the doctors after being diagnosed with an ear infection and laid down on the couch. I was in so much pain. Normally she would bounce about and yip when greeting me. But instead she quietly jumped up on the couch and laid down with her chin on my chest, silently looking at me. Like she knew something was wrong and was worried.
Our fur babies ALWAYS know if me or hubby are sad or sick, and will take shifts watching over us. They know when we really need them and it’s incredible the lengths they will go to for their humans. Such a sweet story. ♥️🐶🤒

Mine would have separation anxiety squared.....if she were still alive. She was a very hyper Parson Russell Terror....yes, TERROR. LOVED that dog! Actually, I think she would try to find me.

We had a dog here that walked a good distance. She was blind too and the temps that day was at 100. She ended up across the street from me and she collapsed. We called her owner and the owner worked for the city here. Her office was on the street behind me. I can't remember all the details but the dog was old and the dog was missing her family. It touched me to know the love and courage it took for the dog to come that far
We had an old dog that went blind and could only find his way around the house by following the edges of the walls. We used to put treats on the floor right along the wall so he would find them in his travels.
Dog's are the most LOYAL animals, we can have in our lives. So SWEET of him to come and visit his owner. Mine, will know if any visitors are coming over. Was on the phone with them and these 2 pups, were already barking away, to let me know. Thw visitors, were actually far from the house. Animals, do have a strong sense of smell. Many a time, I have noticed. Anyway, pray the pet's owner, recovers soon. Thanks for sharing.

My grandmothers husband at the time (not a nice guy and not my grandfather) wanted to get rid of our dogs so he drove them across town and left them in a field. A couple days later they showed up at our house 🥰. It's been about 15 years and they've passed on, but I always remember that.
my dog tried to visit me at school XD she ran outta the Garage so my mom followed her and she was almost at my school, but she got scared and turned around when she heard a big dog bark XD lol. Shes a Toy Poodle her name is Barbie...
Sorry, I realize your post is very old, but dogs exist due to natural selection. Their ancestor was a wolf. Earlier, wolves descended from another species, and so on.

I moved once, and my dog escaped and ended up running back to our old house, which happened to be right across a super busy intersection! Luckily we had family still living at the old house, so they were able to call me and let me know who came to visit them. I was proud, and also very worried cause of the intersection she had to cross. Dogs are so dam smart😭
Sissy did what !! Sissy, any-thing you want , you are a hero hands down. My God ! Am flabbergasted to no end. Bless you little creature you.. L8tr. Go girl
When I was eight I fell off my bike in front of my house, our poodle-terrier Sassy was the first to find me injured and she didn't stop barking until Mom came.
This is why you always try to help an animal and show your humanity animals and dogs are here for us to take care of they have bigger hearts and show love better than some people.
Oh me too yes !!!! i'm suspicious of people who don't like dogs or any animals or who don't greet thier smiles and wags of tails . Had a friend that my fog would greet and she would push her away. SHE is now out of my circle of friendship !!!!!
My dog Judy went with me on a walk one day and there’s an open path along the shore for walking along where I live with no hazards anywhere. So she was off lead, sticking close and sniffing about like the good doggo she is, when I managed to trip and break my foot. I couldn’t get myself up from the pain and there was no one around. She ran home to get help for me. My parents knew something was up soon as they saw her without me.
This is the third time I've heard of a dog coincidently showing up at the hospital where their owner is it. What's incredible is they follow their nose to get there. Hospitals have unique smells to them but it's time to start giving dogs & other animals more credit
Reminds me of my male German Shepherd, when my mom leaves and Zeus is off the leash he will follow her until he gets tired... I had to chase him up a whole street before my mom stopped... lol, that's only happened once😝 Cats will do it to, my cat used to walk me to my bus stop then leave, and be right there when I got off, oh do I miss that cat😔
Back in the late 60's my father got a second hand german shepherd from a guy that was moving overseas and couldn't take her. She was awesome and we had many a snowy adventure in what was then the northern edge of Colorado Springs. One night there was a blizzard and in the morning the dog was gone. She'd dug her way out of the doggy door. I followed the tracks northeast through a couple of neighborhoods until I came to a stony ridge line where I lost them. A day later my father got a call from a neighbor of the guy he'd gotten the dog from. He'd found the dog at her now empty old house 40 miles out into the plains northeast of Colorado Springs. She'd gone ALL that way across land she'd never seen before right to her own home, in a blizzard. We went and got her and she lived out her life with us. Dogs can be amazing.
