Hiked this trail as an overnighter
Amazing views
Loyalsock Trail (LT) and the Link Trail (also known as Red- X Trail.) The loop begins and ends at the Mead Road Comfort Station along Rt 220, just north of Laporte. The total trail distance from start to finish is 25 miles.
First day hikes 18miles we kept hiking pass the link trail so we had to backtrack a bit
Second day just under 9miles

Thank you for this. Best video so far (IMO). Very detailed and gave me a good idea of what to expect. Never heard of this trail and always heard how rocky PA is but this looks relatively mild and now on my list of hikes to do.

nomad068 thanks worlds ends is the hardest part and rocky section the rest of the trail is pretty Moderated Let me know how you turn out when you do the trail

Hi Nick. Beautiful scenery and rapids. nice to see you hiking again. My husband and I use to hike at Bushkill falls almost every October. I am waiting for the snow on top of the mountain 😀

Great documentation! I took my girlfriend out for her first backpacking trip two days ago. We had a friend ferry us from the Dutchman Falls trail head over to Worlds End State Park Office, so we had to start the day by climbing up those rocks to the vista and boy did that gas us. Thanks for sharing your adventure. I forgot to even take any pictures so I am amazed that you were able to capture so much. Awesome video of the loop!

I did this trail a couple of weeks ago and it is a great trail. It's a tough one for sure. Over 4 thousand feet of elevation gain throughout. Great video!

I will be hitting the trail in about two 1/2 weeks. Doing the whole thing. Coming from Michigan. How are the Ticks? Did you see any rattlesnakes?

Jason Mitchell no didn’t see any ticks or rattlesnakes but it was like in the 30s-40s so I’m sure as the weather warms up they will start coming out

Great Hike! Did you have to register or sign in? If so, did you do that at the Meade Rd Comfort station or the visitors station? I assume you parked at the comfort station

Matthew i didn’t register and I don’t think you have to They do have these red poles along the trail where you can put your name and which direction your heading

Top Of The Mountain how many days did you do it in

Hiker Joe did 1 it one overnight The first day i Hiked from 8am till almost sunset and finished the trail at noon the next day

Top Of The Mountain we are taking 4 to do it. We wanted to hike to worlds end. Spend the next day in worlds end, camp just outside , split day 3 and 4 walking back. Taking our time to enjoy its beauty
