LR3 / DISCOVERY 3 DRIVESHAFT REPLACEMENT

My rear uni was exactly the same - notchy as hell. Was giving me vibrations which I originally thought was the front driveshaft as the slip joint spline on that one was really sloppy.

Hi bro great vedio. I wanted to know if The LR3 transfer has its own CPU. If I bought second transfer do I also have to buy a CPU for the transfer. I changed my transfer and someone told me I need to forvthsy CPU of the transfer please advice

Hey, I’m just about to do this myself. Can I ask when you marked the existing shaft with a marker and then laid them side by side on the floor did you then transfer the marks onto the new shaft? Just wondering will it be balanced ok? Cheers

hey mate eddy here i made a youtube account for my Instagram and for me to try and help other landie owners....quick question could the driveshaft cause vibrations ? the thud noise you mentioned is happening to me but also a vibration like torque convertor shudder but I'm wondering if its my driveshaft that's fucked ?

You purchased the new prop from Bearmach, is that correct? If yes, which make and model was/is it? GKN? Bearmach UK? Or Land Rover original?

Hey fella, I’m about to replace mine. Do you have the part number for the prop shaft? Was thinking of going directly through Bearmach, as you can only contact Leo through messenger on facebook which I’m not on. Cheers
