Nice work mate. I was also there on Wednesday in the car park. Some nice wrasse and scorpion fish were caught before the whiting moved in.

Whiting? Whereabouts? I've had a s***ton of Pollock off there recently but never a Whiting

Whats the bait you're using ? Is it plastics? Also what rig you using i wouldn't mind taking my little one to do some lrf fishing when i go over there in a few weeks

Thanks Steve. Has that lost Rockling played on your mind since? I'll probably be up for Exmouth on Wednesday. Have to stay local that day.

How far from the hook do you have your dropshot weight please and how do you decide between a dropshot rig or a splitshot rig?

I vary it as the session goes along. In clearer water I think you can get away with the weight and hook being further apart. But I have found in murky water being as close to the bottom gets more bites. Same for rigs. I switch it up through the session. If one isn't working I'll try the other. I'm new to LRF myself so still playing around and learning as I go.
