This swap would be more beneficial for the B8 S4/S5 guys. They already have the 0B4 from factory, diff is strong, engine bay room is there for sure on the S5 because if that huge 4.2 V8 can fit, a LS should have no issues dropping in.
Yeah most of these parts I see him mentioning are already on the B8’s. If I was him I would just scrap the B7 platform and get a B8 S5 shell since it already came with a V8 and develop for that. Plus there’s little support for the B8 platform besides a few players. The chances to build a niche for the B8 community and have support are much greater than the B5/6/7 where it’s already flooded.

Thank you! I think they are very similar between B7 and B8, but I’m almost certain that the B8 engine bay is smaller-haven’t been able to confirm that however.
