About a year ago, a good customer of ours brought us this clean CJ-7, and wanted a complete rebuild while maintaining an era correct look! We swapped the engine, swapped the axles, as well as pretty much everything else!

82 CJ7,wrangler tub,wagoneer axles, 36" super swamper tsl. 360 AMC 727 auto. Spring over, traction bar. Built 20 years ago, street driven also.

Sweet rig. But I would've gone with 4.11...maybe 4.56 gears. Those 5.13s might xplain why it's so thirsty. I like cruising around 21-2200, but that's just me. Dig the KCs n spare carrier.

Just a general question my son and I have CJ 5&7 and are thinking of doing a shackle reversal with SUA on 37s. Good idea? My son is concerned about caster. Getting new frames from TDK.
