I'm a "old guy" or only seventy four presently asking a question since this is the second show of yours you entertained me with. Born in the forties, was kind of odd for my times. I still am six foot tall hunched over. So being a typical fat guy, thought about the older rigs myself and thought about electric braking and steering. I did mechanics all of my life in one way or another. Lots of fab work behind me and so realize space is not friendly in anything older than say a seventy model pickup truck. Diesel is my trade, well was as now too crippled to walk anymore. I know about electric brakes on say mobile home axles and so know if I were in anything bigger than a go cart.. nope, nada... not trusting something like those. I am referring to actuated braking like electric over hydraulic brake or steering. I also know most of the older style actuators are prone to wear and so are not long term a good system. Has that improved, as we are now in the twenty first century?

When you say runs “ice cold” do you mean it sits at operating temp 210? Or never gets over 215?
