What else makes sense to buy here? A finished Zhonyas - which gives you a lot of stats, or a large rod that gives less AP. Doesnt make sense to buy an Oblivion Orb - cause really only one champ has lifesteal and cutting healing on one Shieldbow just isnt worth versus all the Armor and AP gained from finishing Zhonyas. Plus - you get the Magic Pen mythic passive on Protobelt. LS/Nemesis know what they're talking about - but in this case, what else could he really spend gold on? He cant show up for drag/baron (that was still up when it was finished) with a large rod and maybe elixir. Sorry its a long explanation but this reasoning is usually what leads to things like that. As to why they laughed, I love their takes - but their both pretty arrogant in the way they view things and often wont budge on their opinions. With what I gave you, would you buy anything else? Different scales. C9 gettin out of groups is... just a wild dream coming true for NA fans. It does absolutely nothing to impact the rest of the world. FPX gettin dumped out of groups is the firestarter. It is not the deathblow that EDG vs DK was. EDG vs DK I think is on a whole different magnitude compared to even TeamSpirit's TI win this year. It means absolutely everything. It is the end of the long war between the decent folks vs LCK bandwagoners which has been going on for almost 5 years. I think LS preferred to the scale of the upset, rather than the actual "level" of the upset itself. C9 escaping the group of death is far, far more impressive than LPL's 1st beating LCK's 1st no arguements here. BUT EDG's victory was the final uppercut, the killing blow needed to completely destroy the LCK bandwagoning faction which was running rampart on all social media platforms for the past month or so. EDG vs DK was a fateful, final battle between 2 long time rivals, kinda like Spike vs Vicious, and the decent folks came out on top at the end, but just barely. EDG and LPL fans can be very happy about this victory BUT I think the decent folks are most impacted by this, as they have defeated 85% of the world itself !

Why do you engage with him and go to his channel? If you don't like a person just ignore them. Sure EDG won the finals, which was 50% draft 50% khan/ghost/beryl being gapped, that doesn't take away from the fact that DK was the best performing team at the event as a whole. Showmaker is still probably the best player in the world and Canyon the best jungler. And don't get me wrong, I love watching LPL because it's way more entertaining than LCK most of the time and the level of play is incredibly high. But there's no reason to give shit to someone who literally cannot watch LPL due to it being at the same time as LCK and their schedule is packed with other stuff. He has a big fanbase of (LEC and LCS) B. Actively works/has worked in a company in the environment (LCK/LCS). C. Has costreaming rights to (LCK/LCS) and he doesn't watch league outside his job aka streaming which physically prevents him from watching LPL as it shares schedules with LCK. He does have a clear bias towards Korea though. Look, I won't defend LS' views nor actions because I don't share them/support them. He's said that he's just been doing League lately for work and not love of the game. I do kind of agree with him there, the game has not been in a good state for a while now. So I understand if his commitment/drive towards it has gone down. It is kind of contradictory of him because he should be prioritizing the highest level of play, but I guess he's just doing his job and getting done with it.

As someone who predicted EDG before groups started, I'm very happy with this. They were very underrated. Many people said fpx, rng, dk, as the top, I thought edg, dk, and rng because it just seemed that edg was just a step above fpx in the lpl and adapted to meta changes pretty consistently throughout the year. Glad I bet on edg, paid off big
even after this series it's pretty obvious to me T1 and DK were the better teams. DK massively underperforming doesn't make the other teams any better. Props to EDG for leveraging DK's defficiencies, T1 and DK being the best doesn't mean EDG is a _bad_ team in any way.

It had 0 use that game I would have taken a Canyon Lee Sin for the comfort even if it wouldn’t have been the best into that comp at least he has a kick, if you use game 4 to try stuff out of your comfort then use game 5 to go back to what won you the matches in the finals, it was such a strange draft strategy by them

Am I the only one who feels it's much nicer when LS is solo and gets annoying once others join... Khan actually trolled most of this series, their bot lane did fine but if you’re gonna draft for almost every game for zigs then I see sign of problems bot lane.
