480whp for the T\A is high. Should be more like 440-450 unless he has ported intake\heads. And you should have him on wtq by 70 or so.

remzaprx no it's a LS3 motor, with a cam only them make close to 500whp... he's a friend of mine, he makes 480whp

remzaprx My LS3 is just a cam, cold air intake and headers. it makes 457rwhp on bad 91 octane gas. Lots of LS3 cam bolt on cars at 500rwhp without heads or intake manifold.

Yep...my intake, header, cammed LS3 made 475whp. Nothing else done. With bigger cam and heads they make 500+whp.

yup and the terminator can throw a whipple on his too and make more power with a lot less cubes lol. terminators are monsters modded. They gain a bunch of power swapping blowers and upgrading the fuel only.

Damn bud, I'm sorry to say but throwing money at a v6 firebird or camaro is a waste of money. Even with full bolt ons you would get beat by v6 camrys, accords, and maximas. Look for a 1998-2002 camaro z28; I've seen those go for under $3,000 in my area. They're not in perfect condition but I would rather throw money at an ls1 v8 than any American v6 from the 90s.

@@jonrobinson6941 4.10 damn sure ain't gonna hurt ya you gotta bang them gears man. It's just gonna make you accerlate faster until you get up past your 1:1 ratio. At that point it may start to pull slower with the steeper gears so less top speed theoretically. Far as this kinda of racing you nail them gears 4.10s are fine I got em in my gt500 an 07 it moves the hell out for the mods it has. I don't have any issues falling back because of my gearing slow shifts is what causes that lol

it has way more displacement and way more compression and it's newer to boot. You could also throw a 2.8 whipple on a terminator and make 700 stock long block with 4.6 liters from 2003 youre not impressing anyone. There is way more to it than one is supercharged one isn't. you're talking about throwing an aftermarket blower on your ls3 and making 700 these old cobras can do the same thing lol

yea its a 4.6 from 2003 with a tiny little 1.9 liter eaton blower that is super out of date and inefficient. The TA is running a 6.2 ls3 that has 425 hp from the factory way more displacement more compression. The 03 cobra with the blown 4.6 really had about 430 hp stock despite being rated at 390 so with both cars having bolt ons and being similar weight i can see them being close. So yea it's supercharged but it's factory supercharged. You throw an aftermarket blower on the ta you need an aftermarket blower on the cobra to even it up so that whole put a blower on the ls3 and see what happens mentality is just off. It'sa factory supechaged engine just like the zl1 zr1 hellcats...the terminator basically started that you have them to thank for it. These things could make well north of 400 rwhp with minor bolt ons like 1500 dollars in mods. that was unheard of at that time. a blower swap and they can make some bigtime power.

6.2 liters and way more compression vs 4.6 liters and lower compression. gtfoh with that na vs supercharged crap it's an old factory blower. Both cars are runing bolt on parts. One gets an aftermarket blower they both should have an aftermarket blower. you cant compare a factory 2003 blower to aftermarket blowers that are out now lol
