This video was taken by a good friend (Bill Kaiser) running his 2020 ZL1 1LE Camaro at Circuit of the America's on March 28, 2021. The event was organized by Edge Addicts. The ZL1 was trailered all the way from Arizona for this March COTA event. Thanks again to Edge Addicts. What a special weekend.

interesting, my PDR also only shows a max of 50% braking input even when I demand more and the car supplies more

He was modded, but I also slowed to let him by, so it looked like he flew by me.

Good video! I was out there that day too! I ran yellow group since it was my first time solo. Probably gonna run red group next time. I have a SS 1LE and got some videos up from the last event as well including my personal best lap. Check it out and let me know what you think!

This is the baddest American sports car. I must admit I am disappointed that Chevrolet did convey to Dodge and Ford really how much of a bad ass this ZL1 really can be and is. I am going to get this 2024 one here soon. With only 650 horses, this is a bad boy!!

Yes. Typically trackday organizers require windows for safety reasons. If you have an track accident or fire.... They want you to have easy access or the safety crew needs access to you.

How can I get my ZLE on the track?

Find a local track and see which groups hold events there. They will typically have a novice group with instructors to teach you the basics of being on a track. It's immense fun! Your car is able to handle the track as-is, but you'll want to do some basic tweaks to it once your skill level increases.
