The amount of dedication to this channel recently has been amazing. The daunting task of using new editing software, hiring on will for more content/help, and the move has made this channel my favorite on RU-vid. if you an OG you know Will making moves compared to that Miata he had over five years ago haha.

You need to get a new crank pulley bolt for the LS Ruddy($7 from any parts store), the crank bolt is a torque-to-yield bolt. If you don't get a new one the bolt will loosen and your pulley can fall off while driving. Happened to my Silverado's 6.0. P.o. used the old bolt and my pulley flew off while driving home from work, lost all accessories. ***Like this comment so Chris see's it***
@@slingshot1304 no sir, torque to yield. Look it up. My pulley flew off because previous owner didn't know that when he replaced the harmonic balancer.
Partially right partially not. Yes they are torque to yield and should be replaced. No, the pulley *SHOULDNT* fly off on its own if it loosens, as the pulleys are press on, the bolt is really just there as a safety precaution more than to keep the pulley on
Props to Will, he is there doing it! It might not be right the first time, but that's how you learn. He is doing the research, getting the equipment... one day the 135 will be out ripping, it might blow up, it might not. And if it does it's not the first engine that blew up on YT :)

Or just use what was already there instead of taking it apart all this time spent he could have used that accessory drive and he mentioned wanting to use AutoZone throttle body instead of the factory ls3 which makes no sense truck is going to have to be retuned anyway.
@@ninaallen7849 yep all that cause of having to have a power steering line made and having to find new radiator hoses. When he's going to have to use the ls3 accessories and have the power steering line made and find new radiator hoses anyways. When he gets a lsa supercharger that won't work with truck accessories and end up redoing it anyways. Plus the car accessories give you a lot more room in the front of the engine bay. So he can use a bigger radiator and fans. Then he can put a radiator and fans in the truck that will cool the engine instead of the factory four cylinder radiator that won't cool it. And he already said the truck already overheats anyways if it sets and idles. He spent just as much time trying to make the truck stuff work and could have already had the power steering lines and radiator hoses made already in the same amount of time or less.

I want to do a 6.0 swap in my Silverado. This gives me motivation although I have zero expierence. My Silverado currently has a 4.3 so there’s def a power difference
There's a different between "bullying" and "friendly banter", and that difference is soft people. Coming from Australia, friendly banter is affection :P
I genuinely feel this swap was arguably the most pointless swap to do, not a HUGE gain from 6.0 to an LS3.... Couldve bought some cylinder heads and an intake and been making more for less.
Yeah doesn't make since to buy this engine then take the stuff that makes more power and take it off it's at min of 20whp so we're are talking 30-40 flywheel could have easily turned the throttle body extended the wires and problem solved. Should really take the time and do this right I think people would like to see it make much power as possible heck next day aftermarket intake but dang sure wouldn't be putting same intake manifold that I already had on there that makes less power. There is a reason everyone swaps to ls3 intake it's WAY better.
