LS430 VSC Reset 

Thank you for making this video clip. I took my car to dealer they told me they charge $185 to diagnose the problem and then additional charge to fix it. I followed your instruction on my 2001 ls 430 and it worked great. Thanks

DasCayman you rock. This worked for my 2001 LS430 like magic. I had replaced my right front wheel speed / break wear sensor cable but kept getting CHECK VSC because I didn't have a computer to clear the warning. It was a little tricky getting a small paper clip's ends into the two spots on the OBD, but when I did, things went exactly like your video. Thanks!

I used this method last week on my 2001 LS430. WORKED! Thank you. Took this vehicle to a mechanic and they reset codes twice without resolving the problem. Said that “soft codes” from air conditioner was the reason for VSC warning. Also, was told that in two weeks the VSC light will come back. Guess I’ll wait and see.

Thank you!! Mine went on after mechanic was trying to figure out why rear air suspension was flat and air compressor would not kick in. He was unsuccessful and gave me this warning light as a gift.

Not for nothing I replaced the gas cap I unhooked my battery for 15 minutes I'll get back up and everything cleared no issues 🤷‍♂️

This looks like a shortcut, but what is the manufacturer’ the lights reset steps?

I tried to do this and now my dash is absolutely going crazy. It's flashing on and off rapidly and the gauges are going up and down. My car won't even start

i just went to get my 2001 ls430 smogged and when i put the car in reverse went 5 feet the light turned on and won’t turn off i told the mechanic and he told me “my traction control could be broken from the inside” that made no sense whatsoever because no light has ever turned on until i went earlier any thoughts or help?

The Gs430 and the LS430 are the same. The lights flash but it did not reset for me. What else can it be.

In my 2003 I just unhook the battery after I change the gas cap and the light went off

Followed all your steps but it never gave me the "VSC TEST" display. Still proceeded to follow thru with the rest of the steps and realized that nothing change. Didn't work for me. Mine is a 2005, not sure if it works for this year.

something he didnt mention is your vehicle HAS TO BE ON A FLAT SURFACE. My driveway is at an angle, and it did not work at all. As soon as I went to a flat surface and did it, it worked

Didn't work for me either. VSC test came on. But VSC off light came back on when I started the car

I took out the fuse for it disconnected my battery waited about 10 minutes and walla gone

possibly bad gas cap causing it just for your information

Took my 01 LS to get the starter replaced and when the car was ready and I picked it up the red triangle with the exclamation point came on as soon as I turned on the car. I'm going to try this but I want to know why this is happening? What's the reason for it coming on? Open to anyone's comments. Thanks
