I only torqued 5 bolts video totally missed one fail... I've went back and retorqued it. Moral of the story use a paint pen on ea bolt after it's torqued. I know I will be from now on. Me Installing LS7 clutch on my project built LS3 6.2L. LS7 cheap clutch upgrade for T56. How to install and torque LS7 clutch and bolts x6 onto LS series engines. Me posting videos of my projects so I can have another set of eyes on my build luckily it payed off!
Here's a List of parts I used.
Clutch kit.
LUK 04-905 Clutch set.
Flywheel bolts.
ARP 330-2802.
Pressure plate bolts.
ARP 134-2201.
New pilot bearing.
Dorman. 690-057.
FLY wheel holder tool.
kkmoon k11265.

How is this clutch holding up to a cammed ls3 power level? The LS7 clutch seems to have a slightly different part number unless I am reading these part numbers wrong. Considering the same setup for my cammed ls3 69 camaro

Holding up quite well. Drives like factory and is holding 430 whp. I would say 450 is probably its max though anything over will probably start slipping with sticky tires.

I'm installing LS3 with TR6060 (out of a 2011 Camaro) this combination had 96,000 miles (I and Grandson pulled it from the car). I was thinking of not replacing the Clutch assembly, what's your opinion?

Definitely replace it your already there and 96k is well worn. Its better to be safe then sorry.

Not sure if you didn’t put it in the video but you didn’t show torquing the 2nd bolt to the left of the dowel hole

On pressure plate or flywheel? Its possible I cut it out. The video was getting super long so its possible I accidentally cut it out.

Dude good eye! I think you're totally right thank you for catching that. I'm going to be pulling my pressure plate back off to double check. I think I'm going to be using a paint pen on ea bolt after its torqued like I did on my rear main cover as future insurance.

It all came as a kit. Not sure on part numbers it's been awhile.

Do you remember if the pressure plate was fully seated on the flywheel? With mine there's a gap between the pressure plate and the flywheel and I'm not too sure if that's normal

There was a gap until I torqued down the pressure plate. Once its seated there shouldn't be a gap if I remember right. Double check to make sure all the dowl pins are through the right holes on flywheel.

Yes if your running the LS1 style t56 and not the LT style.

I'm using the Tick adjustable master cyclinder. With stock LS1 style slave cyclinder. I tried to use the ls1 master cyclinder but ran i to issues with it not engaging.

you should never use Red loctite on bolts in a car. I see endless mechanics pist when people do because it's almost impossible to get them off.

I used to think that but if you don’t put any it will leak oil thru the holes. It’s recommended on JZ engines to do the same. Took mine out and never had an issue.
