Back then Bama had big slow defenders built to beat offenses like LSU who loved to run the ball. Nick needed time to change his personnel. That’s why he bitched and moaned about the no huddle offense back then. He couldn’t defend it.
@@337_Brandon I understand but my point is that Bama as great as their defenses were when they had Kirby Smart they still could never stop a spread attack a team that had elite QB and receivers would always torch em but LSU defenses were very good also and were built on speed instead of size so that’s why we could control spread attacks such as Johnny manziel in this game.
