There’s no telling how this game will shake out really, both teams have question marks. That being said USC has been vastly underrated and will put up a better fight than most expect. Either way it’ll be an entertaining game I’ll see you guys in Vegas.
USC fans should get familiar with the name of Kaleb Jackson. He’s one of LSU’S RBS that is 6’2 235 lbs & runs like a mad man possessed. He’s the closest thing that LSU’S had since Leonard Fournette. GEAUX TIGERS!😊
@@TonyB-rv9qd 2 offensive linemen? LSU has 1 one the best offensive lines in college football. We check all of the boxes on offense. I just highlighted certain players. I could go on & on, but I won’t. Yourself, along with the rest of the USC fan base will find out on Sunday. GEAUX TIGERS!
Yeah, LSU has a much improved defensive coaching staff as well. Do you realize that LSU didn’t even have a defensive line coach on the sidelines last season? We have BO DAVIS coaching the DTS this season. Kevin Peoples is the DE coach, with Corey Raymond coaching CBS & BLAKE BAKER is the Defensive Coordinator. This IS NOT last year’s defense.😂😂😂
USC is known as 'WRU' @14:58... Yeah, uh-huh. Over the last 20 years: USC/'WRU': (17) WR's drafted, including (4) 1st-rounders LSU: (23) WR's drafted, including (8) 1st-rounders Which then begs the question - if USC is 'WRU', then what does that make LSU?
Joe Sloan, the offensive coordinator, has been the QB coach the last 2 seasons. He’s called plays before & he’s very familiar with the offense, coaching staff & players. LSU will be just fine.😊
@@LockedOnUSC What positions you think trojans have the advantage over LSU? If you respond give 2 deep at said position/positions. Would like to know what we up against. Me personally I don't see a single one on offense.
@@BPM73 LSU has MORE NATIONAL titles THIS CENTURY that the ENTIRE LEFT coast. MORE than uga, tosu, mich, texass, ou, clemson, fsu, aub and uf. Think that covers EVERY team that's won a title this century except the ONLY team that has more than the LSU tigers.
LSU I know I know all the firepower is gone but again Brian Kelly 8-3 against us; 550 YPG last year, 350 of that passing, 79 TDs, allowed only 47; good 3rd down team; not great in the red zone. Still, their strengths are our stand-out weaknesses: we cannot and will not tackle, we give up explosive 30+ yard plays, and we refuse to defend the pass ESPECIALLY over the middle on every snap. I called HC LR about 4 months before it happened; I called Entz a year before it happened; I got every game right last year except the bowl and we are waist deep in kim chee on this one. SP+, FPI, Vegas, and ratings are ALL against us. I would love to be wrong.
CED just sat up and took it from that USC dude haha man… LSU about to tear USC ass up.. LSU is not losing another season opener, this episode pissed me off
I mean he was a guest was I supposed to call him an idiot for having opinions on the team he covers? Sometimes you gotta take off the lsu goggles and hear another persons opinion
I'm a die hard USC football fan but I still have love for LSU ( " geaux Tigers!") I want my Trojans to won but I also want to see a good hard game. What I don't like is the clown shoes like Paul Finebaum who crap talk and use NON conference games like this to trash programs (they'll dump USC in the toilet of college rankings hypocritically while talking " strength of schedule " BS to justify other teams staying higher in rankings. For LSU? If they lose it'll be an excuse to try and jeep them out of any post season play and they would still try to put a 2 loss Bama or GA up over LSU!
Ced, bruv your room is too wet and needs tone dampening. Hearing your room with your mic, theres a boxy reverb effect going on. Also maybe run a desser on your mic. It will improve your sound. You can get stuff cheap online and or at minimum, hang blinkets on thevwalls not behind you.
I love when you have 2 opposing teams be respect! What a game this will be. Marc is a cool guy, I also watch him on Locked on LSU, but in the end, Geaux Tigers! Watch for the Weeks brothers as well and Chris Hilton if he is healthy!
This host was great and very humble. As a USC fan, Marc annoys me on how boastfull he is and how he goes on and on in his passive aggressive name dropping the entire team. I want to feel confident about our team, but Mark is too much.
@@FredPitre-o4b Don't get me wrong, Zachariah Branch has the talent to become a dangerous offensive weapon. He just hasn't yet shown that he has grown into that role. He is one of, if not THE most dangerous special teams returner in the nation. Our entire top crust of the WR corp graduated last year. We are now depending on the underclassmen who are Coach Riley's first home-grown class. We won't really know who is going to light it up until gameday. They all have the potential to do so. It might be Duce Robinson, Makai Lemon, Ja'Kobe Lane, or Kyron Hudson. I would put any of these four ahead of Branch at this time. I'm guessing Lane will prove to be our #1. I wouldn't even be surprised if Kyle Ford finishes the season with more catches than Branch. He has all the talent in the world but just hasn't yet broke through to become a star.
@@mathieufaltys Thanks for the honest assessment of the sc WR room. LSU has its own all american specialist. He was also voted 1st team all sec apb at media days a few weeks ago. 2nd team all sec return specialist.
@@theblackdog2399that’s not even close to true lol USC has put way more wide receivers in the NFL. Keyshawn Johnson to Amun Ra St Brown, don’t be silly 😂
Paul Fienbaum has forgotten more football than this USC homer knows. LSU didn't need to hit the portal for WRs, but if one of the best WR's in the nation wants to come play for you take him. Zion Thomas filled a glaring need at KR and PR for us. The more these USC homer brag cause that's what their doing, I hope LSU gives them a beat down worse than Bama gave'em.
@@donsspecialty3961 who is this “ one of best wr in nation” please don’t tell me you are referring to the guy from liberty who didn’t play a power 5 team the whole year.
@Trojanfight Absolutely I'm speaking about CJ Daniels. Football is football and he was dominant for Liberty and guess what else, he has more receiving yard and tuddies than your entire receiving corp. Facts! You'll see his Liberty skillset up close and personal soon. You'll also see Lacy's UL Lafayette skill set. Yes, he transferred from a directional school as well. I'll be here to rub it in when he scores a tuddy on the vaulted USC defense.
@@Trojanfight Correct me if I'm wrong sir. trojans top 4 receivers coming into the '24 season had ONLY SIXTY receptions combined? Yeah that's him CJ Daniels. Led the country in 20+ yard receptions with 19. He had a 19+ YPR avg. In fact LSUs top 3 WRs all had a 17+ YPR avg. trojan fans think they have an elite WR room. LSU fandom knows we do.
@@TrojanfightYeah, he had over 1,000 yds. receiving last season & more than likely he’ll be our 3rd WR on the field. That’s how deep LSU’S WR ROOM is. Don’t even get me started about LSU’S TE ROOM, MY GOODNESS. We have some real teryidactals at TE. GEAUX TIGERS!😊
Tell that loon, that it's more like the other way around. As LSU has the big advantage at the WR position, but not only at the WR position, it also has the big advantage at TE as well. Moreover, I like the way Nuss gets the ball out to the receivers far better than I like Moss's looping passes. Nonetheless, Moss will be blitzed for the entire game. Which means he will only have a enough time to make short quick passes. While LSU with it's best OL in the country will obviously run the ball down USC's throat and then when USC is forced to load the box to attempt to stop the run, that's when Nuss will tea off for some quick and easy scores. Meanwhile, how many Harold Perkin type players does USC's defense have? Nonetheless, the difference in this game will be the strength of LSU's OL versus USC's OL. As LSU's OL will give LSU a little more flexibility to do what it needs to do to win this game .
@@David_USC Actually, LSU will win pretty easily. As LSU is the more talented team and because LSU's best offensive line in the country will definitely permit LSU to do the things necessary to win the game. Nonetheless, it's more or less a home game for USC, but it won't matter because LSU will be more than prepared to win the game. Moreover, the notion of that USC blogger being so incredibly ignorant of LSU's superior talent was, I have to say, exceedingly entertaining, to say the least. By the way, wingnut, how many Harold Perkins type defensive players does USC have on their defense? As Harold Perkins will wreck hell on USC Sept. 1. By the end of the game, I bet Moss will hate that dude. In fact, he will wake up with bad nightmares dreaming about that dude sacking him and chasing the shit out of him.
You obviously don’t know much about college football. I don’t condescend on LSU because USC and LSU both have glorious football histories. The teams are so similar this year down to having Heisman winning QBs one year apart. Talk is cheap. Let’s see what happens next weekend on the field in Allegiant Stadium. It’s going a great game, probably really close, and it could go either way. FTFO!!!🎉✌️👍🤙
