You are right about the effect of happenstance on the game. Ole Miss forced a fumble with Kentucky that fell right into the hands of a Kentucky player for a touchdown that was enough to win (not to mention our totally reliable kicker missing the tying field goal at the end). We pretty much just need to play all freshman. Watkins got pt against s carolina I thought. But getting these young guys in the flow should help in the long run
Maybe they can use a little more 13 personnel to find some mismatches with athletic TEs vs linebackers. That’s if the young WRs don’t appear to be ready.
Worried for my Tigers. People saying, our defense is looking better, because they looked good versus the last two teams, that both have a 1-4 record. South Alabama does NOT have an elite offense. Maybe we can play some high school teams, so we can say our defense is elite. All the other teams we have played, so far, have all dropped games, and dropped in the power rankings. Ole Miss has a very good defense, and I predict that they will beat us handily. Hopefully, I am wrong.
You say Ole Miss have a good defense. What good/ decent offense have they played ? If Kentucky offense scores 20 on them, I think this lsu offense can do much more… also our defense haven’t played a good offense like there’s so we will see. I’m more worried about our defense not being able to stop ole miss offense. If we win the TOP I believe we win this game. Also Ole Miss offense doesn’t break defense down and play physical … they play fast and score fast something that can benefit us like when they play Kentucky

@@basedpillclips8814 The only team that we have both played is South Carolina. They scored 33 points on us and 3 points on Ole Miss. Ole Miss manhandled them, and we got lucky.
@@rickrhoden1 Not all of us. Mississippi is an afterthought. The only thing more embarrassing than losing to them last year was when some idiot LSU freshmen rushed the field after beating them the year before. It's like rushing the field after beating Middle Tennessee or Alcorn State.

I mean u do realize that currently in total defense South Carolina and ky are both ahead of ga. Ky is 5th in the country in total defense and ur acting like bc ole miss scored 20 points a touchdown more then ga sm how this offense isn't elite ? I don't rly know y ur comparing ky and usc to this game LSU's defense is more comparable to wake forest than it is to ky. And they aren't warts Jaxson has been missing walk in tds that he's made all 3 years of being here
